About
Our shop is situated just next to the meeting point of ski school Seefeld next to the Geigenbühel-skilift. Ideally located closeby to the skibus station (less than 100 mts.) to reach the skiing areas Rosshütte and Gschwandkopf by skibus in a minimum of time. Our rental equipment is fitted to each of our guests individually - from searching the right model and size of ski boots, choosing the right length and type of skis to the competent and professional adjustment of the safety ski-binding and periodically checks. Of course, our skis are always top-serviced, and if you'll hit a stone on the ski slope, it's no problem - with our modern ski servicing machines we will do this ,,pit stop" for you quickly and experienced. Remember - only top maintained equipment is safe equipment!

Reinhardt and his team are friendly and welcoming. They let us change ski equipment in to snowboard without hassle. All equipment is modern, clean and great quality. We also used the depot which was very handy storing our skiing and snowboarding stuff. We ll definitely return to this store and would highly recommend.

We have just returned from Seefeld and hired both our down hill and cross country equipment from Modern Ski. We used these guys last year also because they were so helpful and friendly and this year they did not disappoint. They take their time over fitting to ensure you have comfortable boots, there's no rushing, they were friendly and approachable with plenty of advice on where to go and got to know us through the week. We also hired cross country skies as well and they were great at swapping the charges from one type to another and again great service and advice. I couldn't fault these guys which is why we went back and they also offer 5 percent discount for cash which is always useful and would recommend them every time. They are also conveniently situated by the beginner slop and the ski-bus stop. Thanks for all your help

The service is amazing the people there is always willing to help, the rental equipment is quite new and extremely clean. They are located just 5m away from the ski tracks compared to other ski rentals where you have to walk. If you go to Seefeld you must rent your ski equipment here

The ski depot is very well situated, close to the beginner slope as well as the ski bus stop. The staff go out of their way to help with all of your skiing needs, which was very re-assuring for novices like ourselves. I will certainly recommend them to others and will definitely use them again if I can get back to Seefeld.

Modern Ski is perfectly located right at the foot of the Geigenbuhel ski slope, where the ski schools take all beginners for their early lessons, so if you or your kids are getting started with skiing you could not pick a better place to hire your ski gear - it completely avoids hot and sweaty clumping around with boots and skis, etc. Then, once you're a bit more proficient and don't get flustered carrying your gear, it's only a very short stroll to the Apothekenparkplatz car park, where the superb ski buses run frequently to the main Rosshütte and Gschwandtkopf slopes nearby.
As other reviewers have already said, the staff are very friendly and speak good English, as well as other common languages. I would guess that Modern Ski's main custom comes from your average holiday-making family staying locally for a week, rather than specialist users, but they are very well set up for that target market. They have a good stock of well-maintained equipment and are very patient and cool with even the most trying of customers. We have used Modern Ski for many years and will happily do so again next time - we have had only good experiences of them.
Finally, a useful money-saving tip: look up their hire rates on their web site and take enough in CASH to pay at the end of your stay, and that way you'll get a 5% reduction on the overall bill.

We've used Modern Ski on our last two ski trips to Seefeld. What stands out is the fast friendly service. The staff really enjoy their job and take care to ensure that you get the right equipment. Good location at the bottom of the nursery slopes in Seefeld and close to the central stop for the ski buses.

A ski trip for South Africans is always fairly daunting, but the incredibly patient and unbelievably efficient service at Modern Ski helped us in having a truly memorable skiing experience.

Ideal place to rent kit for Ski School as at the bottom of the nursery slop. You can leave it there and don't need to take them back to your hotel which is ideal. Great service and friendly team.

Modern ski provided extremely friendly and helpful service. The equipment was of high quality. They were willing to swap equipment if it didn’t fit or was uncomfortable. They helped us get used to the facilities in the town. You can take your boots/skis back there, to be looked after, at lunchtime and overnight. They speak good English! Excellent customer service all round!

Excellent experience at Modern Ski. The staff were efficient, knowledgable, and friendly. The equipment was excellent quality, and the staff ensured you got the right equipment for your individual needs. Plus, it’s located right at the foot of the mountain, so you can practically ski from the door - brilliant! Oh, and they have sledges to hire or buy too!
