If you want to know everything there is to know about alpacas this is the place to be! The owners are super friendly people who love to tell you about the animals. You can feed and hug the alpacas as much as you want and the hike is very beautiful!

We were lucky enough using our seefeld guest card to secure 2 places because otherwise we wouldn't have been unable to get In to see the wonderful alpacas. A magical morning where we got to know the alpacas in their home, took them for a walk through a beautiful snowy forest and back to the stables for a warming mug of punch for us and some alpaca 'chocolate for the alpacas . The owners were extremely knowledgeable and told a story about each alpaca..an wonderful day out and I can't wait to go back!…

Whilst visiting Seefeld for a couple of days I found this activity on TA & our the hotel where we were staying was organising a trip for Fri but by the time I found this out it was sold out. Going on line I found that they where only open Fri & Sat with 2 walks on Fri but only 1 on the Sat. We were flying back Sat morning so would be unable to do the Sat walk. So on the off chance they had a cancellation I phoned on the Fri, spoke with a very nice chap called Florin ( very goog English ) who informed me that they had just 2 places left for evening lantern walk that day, perfect ! Although the Alpaca farm was only a 25 min walk from our hotel in the centre of Seefeld or a 10min bus ride we decided to take 1 of the horse drawn carriages which took us on a 40min scenic ride through the woods to our destination, absolutely magical. Once at the farm we were greeted warmly by our hosts & introduced to the Alpacas. After a short talk about the Alpacas, where they originate from & a history of the farm we were allocated an Alpaca 1 per couple. We was fortunate that Jacob, the Alpha may had taken a shine to my fiancè, so we lead the group out of the farm & on to the tracks. Alpacas like to walk slowly so although the walk takes about an hour you don't go very far. The 1st part of the walk was on the road downhill to the village & was easy. The return was via the snow covered cross country sking track through the woods which although lovely was a bit more challenging especially for the very youngest of our group. The walk through the woods by lantern light with the Alpacas is an experience I will never forget & we think ourselves very lucky to have been able to do this. Nadin & Florian could not have been more helpfull, even organising a taxi back to our hotel. Although we were not organised enough to have taken advantage of the free trip courtesy of the guest card I was more than happy with the €50 I paid for the 2 of us. I highly recommend you do this if you are in the area at any time but to avoid disappointment make sure you book otherwise you may not be as lucky as we were!@@! 5☆…

We were not organised enough to take advantage of the free session that is available with the Seefeld card so we paid for the walk with the alpacas. I went with my husband and teenage son. It was well worth the euros! The owners are genuinely lovely knowledgeable people who introduced us to their alpacas and could answer any questions we had. We then went out for a walk and were given an alpaca per family and then another one per family because there were some alpacas still free. Even though there was quite a downpour of rain we still had a great time and I would recommend this experience to anybody visiting Seefeld. I was a little worried that the alpacas were being used as a tourist attraction but two minutes with their owners completely reassured me that the alpacas enjoy their walk and interaction with people.…

We read about this on tripadvisor so thought we should give it a try - and despite having failed to notice reference to the Gaestekarte giving free admittance, we still feel we got good value despite paying full price while the Gaestekarten were sitting in our car boot! Nadin and Florian were the most welcoming hosts, speaking flawless English and giving us a really good overview of the alpacas, where they come from and how they care for them. We were allocated a couple of alpacas (one for each of the children) and off we went in a group of about 20 people. We were taken for a walk down the valley, along woodland paths which were soggy in places (good footwear required), and then back to the farm for a peruvian drink. The whole walk was just wonderful - the animals were soft, fluffy, funny and friendly - they clearly enjoyed being taken out, and despite a moment involving a skittish alpaca and an errant dog, it all went very smoothly. The children were so proud of their alpacas - and of being given responsibility for them. The whole experience was just a joy, and we left feeling all warm and fuzzy inside. I'm pretty sure at least one of the families there went home harbouring plans to adopt their own alpacas when they got home. Thank you Nadin and Florian, the children listed it as one of their favourite parts of the holiday and still talk about their fluffy friends Vanderlin and King Laurie :)…
