Was surprised no precautions re the virus , railways packed as many as possible in, the staff did not acknowledge any of its passengers as they went to the front of the train.

The cafe at top of Seefelfer Joch (2000m) is the most unfriendly cafe we found.
View is great and skiing is good, but better take the break somewhere else.

Traveling with two teenagers. We took the Roßhütte bergbahn halfway up the mountain and then walked to the top. It was hard, but felt good!!

You can get the shuttle to the restaurant area but the remainder to the top of the Seefeld Joch is shut for refurb with building work going on. So enjoy the long steep walk if you want to get to the top! Will be OK when done.

Good summer views, café at top with further cable cars to lift you higher. Great views and you can watch paragliders throwing themselves i9nto the mercy of the wind. People apparently pay for the experience.
We walked back down, stopped in an Alm (mountain café) and enjoyed some refreshment. Very pleasant

The Rosshutte is a very pleasant short railway journey that can be the beginning of a pleasant stroll back down, or for the more athletic and adventurous, a very scenic. (In some places quite scary) mountain excursion. Keen mountain walkers will love it.

It's quite an experience to ride in this small (12-person) old cable car that takes you from Rosshuette to the top of the ski area - a real slice of skiing history. That said, it's perfectly large enough for the demand as not that many make the descent from the very top. To walk up from the top station there's a viewpoint with extensive views. We saw Alpine Choughs (birds) and an eagle high above the adjoining peak.

If it's open in summer it would be a great place to begin a high-level walk.

The train ride to the top of the mountain is beautiful. The views are spectacular from the train ride. The village looks small when viewed from the mountain

We visited Seefeld Whit week this year, We wanted to go on the Seefelderjoch Bahn but it wasn't open. We started walking up and heard the train. We was going to go back down to get on it but realised they were just testing it. It looked great though and we hope to go on it next time we visit Seefeld. The walk up to the top was still worth it as the views were amazing.
