This place is peaceful because it's a hidden gem and people aren't aware much about this place but it is a place where you can see the architecture and the carvings on ceiling. It even has 4pools inside for bathing purpose which were used by queen. if you visit jhansi or somewhere near that add this placein you bucket.

Orchha is a wonderful, not much noticed hidden jewel in the middle of hillocks and situated next to a beautiful river. This place if full of temples, forts, temples etc and one can wonder about the amazing architecture. This fort contains beautiful patios, blue tiled domes, beautiful balconies, frescoes and so much for the eyes. It's one of the best places in India, I would say.

Orchha, a small town near Jhansi has few attractions. One among them is the Orchha Fort which dates back to the period of Bundela Dynasty rule and Mughal invasion. The fort houses Raja Mahal, Shiva temple, Sheesh mahal, Jahangir Mahal and other small palaces. The beautiful architecture has names scribbled over it, an instant turn off for anyone. The beauty and ancient engineering in the fort is worth appreciating. You would on an average spend 3 hours here visiting the entire cluster which needs a big time repair. The light and sound show at night for 200Rs per person is not that impressive.
