Frankly this one place is a neglected one among other more popular places. Actually i wanted to rate it bad so that it remains like that only, and don't get crowded :) :p
But I would like to be honest with my reviews.
It's surely can be termed as one kept secret at hampi

Wonderfully constructed temple in good shape, it is worth a quick visit. It has no entry fee or guards. We took an auto around the Hampi area and he stopped here.

Each pillar is different, it really well maintain by Archelogy department.
On entrance you will see Stone Stambh, then big gate inside such magnificent specious temple.
Main Idol is not there, Main Entrance is damaged. If go from the main entrance some 50mtr ahead you will find beautiful Pushkarni.
This common hampi concept every temple has it space, pushkarni and Bazar setup.
Actual location is Little outside to Hampi main monuments but with in 3km range so surely visit.

Hampi is now a ruined city of ancient structures after Talikota battle in 1565 resulting in disastrous tragedy. UNESCO has declared it as a ‘World Heritage Site’.
The important structures are located in two blocks, namely Royal and Sacred centres. Remnants of opulent palaces, baths, pavilions, royal stables are in Royal Centre while temples are in Sacred Centre which is on banks of Tungabhadra River. Among many attractions Pattabhirama Temple is a tourist dots notable for its big size and completeness. It is not much ornate compared to other monuments. One small shrine of goddess is found within this temple compound. You will come across peculiar terminologies here. East-facing sanctum is called tri-tala Vimana with an antarala, ardha-mantapa and Maha-mantapa. There is square Maha-mantapa with tall pillars and to its east you find ardha-mantapa with pradakshina-prakara surrounding garbha-griha and antarala.
Lord Pattabhirama temple is situated at Kamalapura 6km from Hampi and 1km from Archeological museum on Kamalapura road. It is located in the center of a large rectangular enclosure of about 163m X 93m. There are four towers in four directions called as east, west, north and south gate. The entire temple area is covered by strong walls. It has a vast lawn. The sanctum sanctorum is in centre of courtyard, where pillared arcade runs along the wall round the courtyard inside. Main temple is in the center of premises. I first entered the hall through a small gate. I saw that this temple display a unique charm. Unfortunately there is no idol inside sanctum. Though the idol was stolen or destroyed yet it has not deprived the temple of its beauty and spectacular attraction in our view. The peaceful environment here is the splendid architecture that has mesmerized me.
Pattabhirama temple is along south bed Tungabadra River found in scenic hilly background. The beautifully carved ornate pillars depict the talent of artists of those times when we look at these pillars in the hall. It is vast and amazing temple. You will realise that it reminds you of the greatest land of culture, music, art and architecture. Those grandeurs are still capable of making the viewers to convey an astonishing appeal to their mind.
Those days artisans were known as stone cutters and some sophisticated scholars called them Shilpi (Architects). Vijayanagara style of architecture on pillar is an example of immense talent of their creativity in art of carving on stone pillars. We can distinguish the method adopted by them while building inside pillars in simple style and in courtyard in an elaborate manner. Kalyanamantapa (divine wedding hall) is at southeast of compound, where we can appreciate carvings on pillars with fantastic Yali images that are commonly observed in other temples also. Curiously you may watch at north-eastern section of premises granite slabs. There is wide chariot street after passing the tall tower at east end. Temple pond is at some distance from main road.
Vittala temple is always crowded because of its situation but Pattabhirama Temple looks like isolated since committed tourists come in search of it. Interestingly the locality around Pattabhirama Temple was known as Varadadevi Street, as she was the queen of King Achyuta Raya.
Every year Vijayanagara Festival, Hampi Utsav or Hampi Festival and Purandara Festival are organised, when there will be heavy crowd of visitors, especially foreigners, to witness cultural fairs like dance, music, drama, processions and a host of other events.
Bellary domestic airport is nearest one. Hospet railway station is nearest railhead at 13km. Hospet is connected to Bangalore and other major cities you can avail various accommodation options at Hampi

It's huge and beautiful temple situated in Kamalpura. It's often neglected by tourist due to its location. But it's one of the best temples in Hampi. Visit in evening to see it sparkle in sunshine.

Though it's a little far away from the main Hampi complex, it is a big and nice temple. One can see lots of different mandapas and nicely maintained lawn outside. It was a Jain temple.

The campus of this temple was huge, covering nearly the size of two football-fields. Although parts of this ancient temple have been weathered away, what remains is itself wonderful. The architecture is worth appreciation.

A few kilometers away from Hampi, at Kamlapura, this temple dedicated to lord Rama has one of the largest "Mantapa" (marriage hall) in this part of the country. The largest in those days probably.
