This area (if I understand correctly what is meant with this subject here) is quite nice. The picture you see is from the elephant stables (which are great), but also just walking around inthe general area is quite nice. Take it as a package that it is (queens palace, lotus palace, elephant enclosure, .... )

The enclosure includes Lotus Mahal, Watchtowers, Elephant Stable etc. Clearly, this is post Vijayanagara Kingdom rule architecture. Zanana is not a Sanskrit or Kannada word. There is an entry fee for this attraction.

Interesting glimpse into the history of Hampi. Great place to take photos and stroll around. Also provides welcome shade during hot weather.

Seems it had been neglected for quite long before it came to the light of the authorities. Well maintained as of now though. If you are in Hampi, you can go there to pass your time at leisure.

The Zenana Enclosure comprises of basement of queen's place, Lotus Mahal, a small museum, a watch tower and elephant stables among the other things. The mahal and stables are especially worth seeing for their sheer engineering and architectural beauty. You need to purchase a entry ticket which costs about 10rs. The same can also be used for Vittala temple.

Amazing that such detail would be given to the shelter of transportation animals! The buildings are so beautiful.

This amazing garage was built with grace and beauty in mind. The mighty elephants were treated royally. The site is peaceful and breathtaking. Even the driver's quarters are spectacular.

This is a stand alone facility, not attached to any palace. This is bit unique. In the earlier days visiting queens used to come to this place. It's a huge place. One can imagine the life of Royals in those days.
