They offer a guided tour of the place which ought to be taken up given the rich variety of artifacts in it. This is a place not to be missed when you visit Dharamshala. This institute have handicraft sections where you can see what is Tibetan tradition. Shop is a great place to buy some souvenir for your home and for friends back home. Tsetan who works in the shop is someone with great spirit and humor!! Around you can visit also... More

This quiet institute is a nice place to see Tibetan art at it's best natural way. Kids and people with a love for craft will love this place.

I was a volunteer English teacher at that time and we went to the Institute with the students from Kunpan Cultural School. It was a really nice day out and the lovely guide lady gave us a really insightful tour. It was really nice learning how Tibetans people are doing to preserve their culture.

I was coaxed into going here and I did not regret. What a view. The institute is huge and is green and ecofriendly . A great and beautiful place to visit and to stay. You can wath tibetian painting. There is also a nice museum with dolls from day to day life in Tibet. We enjoed a nice coffee and lemon cake. it's a must for the visitors in this area. Especially those interested in Buddhism. It offers a close view of Tibetan art and culture. Also has a food court, Lodge, a Souvenir Store, art and craft institute which give visitors short lessons too. A must.

One of my favourite place in Dharamshala. It's a must visit place of in Dharamshala. They have an entry fee of around 40 bucks.
