This is a place where Tibetan people - who have been driven out of Tibet and live now in India - make beautiful things in Tibetan style; very good quality goods at fair prices

I went there today. I have to admit that it was a hasty trip, so I might not have gotten the full experience. However, from what I saw, it was not as large as I had expected. There are some interesting things to see, such as the architecture, but almost all the workshops that I went to had nobody working.... More

I visited this Tibetan institute of arts and culture on a field trip with students from nearby Kunpan School. We were given a warm welcome and an unrequested discount upon arrival and a free tour by a patient, informative, and delightful guide. The buildings and setting are stunning and an aura of peace and tranquility abounds. Heartfelt thanks to everyone... More

Norbulingka is continuing Tibetian culture in content, form and process by providing apprenticeship in traditional Tibetian art forms by design, quality, tradition. It's a community of artisans who keep Tibetian culture alive by training people. It's a pleasure to visit this institute which contains a museum and workshop.

A must visit to this place. I was amazed to see the beautiful endeavor to keep Tibetan culture alive. You get to visit all their workshops, the store, the temple and also get to roam around the place which is full of pretty colours, water bodies and greenery. The cafe there serves good food but the cafe staff isn't good.

This is a great place if one wants a peak of the Tibetan culture. The institute offered us a guide, who gave an insight to the Tibetan arts and culture and took us around to show us people painting and working on other handicrafts. The temple too, is beautiful. It's a great place to visit and just sit around absorbing... More

We stayed here with family. As soon as we entered we were mesmerized by the beauty of the place. Very peaceful and beautifully designed in traditional Tibetan architecture. Hospitality is good, only that we were very disappointed with the food arrangement. Every time we visited the Hummingbird cafe, we were told that only basic limited items can be made as... More

Lots to learn about Tibetan Culture .. Ask for a free tour guide at the entrance... Tickets are ₹40 per person .. Children under 12... More
