Gorillas and Wildlife Safaris Ltd, a member of the Association of Uganda...

Gorillas and Wildlife Safaris Ltd, a member of the Association of Uganda Tour Operators, is one of the few accredited Tour Operator by the Uganda Ministry of Trade and Tourism. We have been in operation since 2005.

We delight in providing the most affordable luxury, mid-range and low budget safaris & tour packages to individuals and small groups/ families without any discrimination.

Our major purpose is that as many as possible will visit and enjoy the unique beauty of Uganda and Rwanda with a professional and knowledgeable tour guide, through a fast, honest and professional booking service, at the best affordable price possible.

We emphasize giving plenty of quality relevant information about Uganda and Rwanda both before and after the tour. Although we delight in earning a profit from our our work, this is not our main driver.

We will be most glad when at the end of your visit you feel you want to stay longer than planned and we will be very sad when for any reason (both our own or other factors' making), you fail to make it for your safari in Uganda and Rwanda. So, talk to us today! We will most likely be of more help than you expect - be it gorilla tracking safaris, Rwanda wildlife and game viewing safaris, chimpanzee tracking, and bird-watching packaged tours, culture, white-water rafting, mountain climbing, name it.

Well organised and a lifetime experience. The guides are just so proud of what they do and just so well versed in gorilla behaviour. Always felt very safe and in capable hands and yet when contact was made with our gorilla group it was my personal experience and no others. A five hour round trip but the trek is set... More

A massive thank you to gorillas and wildlife safaris for the trip of a lifetime. We loved every moment! From our very first interaction via email with Ivan, we felt completely assured that this was a highly professional company, and that we would be safe and looked after. This remained true throughout our entire trip. Communications were returned quickly and... More

Ivan was super efficient from the word go! Put together a personal itinerary for us taking into account our time constraints! Gorilla permits were organised, emails were always answered promptly! We were met at Kigali airport- a huge shout out to Charles "the Twitcher" our guide! Prompt, professional and a brilliant driver across some pretty hectic roads! He definitely helped... More

Travelled from Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park with our driver Ahmed. Was a great experience hiking through the rainforest and seeing the gorillas in their natural habitat. Ahmed made the experience very easy, he was always on time and very enjoyable to travel with.

This was my second trip in Uganda with Ivan's company. A 4-day budget safari in Bwindi National Park and Mgahinga National Park. Like the journey two years ago, all financial dealings were handled on a very transparent, accountable, and professional basis. Our guide, Ahmed, worked very hard to make our trip entertaining and successful. Most things went very smoothly, and... More

We went with African Jungle Adventures/Jungle Safaris Uganda and were extremely pleased with our entire trip. The gorilla trek was everything we had hoped for and more. After a couple of hours of relatively easy hiking, we were notified the gorillas had been found and we began a steep descent to where the trackers (and gorillas) we located. Most of... More

Trekking into the Impenetrable Forest is an adventure and a quiet thrill. Gathered into a group of up to 8 from the Ruhija station, we were led by a team of park rangers and guards wielding machetes and hoisting AK47s. Our descent was very steep and slippery on the vines and leaves, but only added to the anticipation of meeting... More

With nervous and excited anticipation we headed out on our gorilla track. We choose the "Easy group to reach" ...so we thought. Our driver drove about 30 minutes from the ranger station where we picked up the porters. Our first hour of climbing brought us through a local village and farm lands before entering a pine forest. After that we... More
