Popped in for breakfast what get at wimpy for R25 will cost R75 here, the cappuccinos was also some of the worst I have had. Walking around is great and I suppose if you have euros to spend one would not mind the overpriced average food. Will l not go again.

Not the best out there. Service was slow and dishevelled. Food was positively average. Watching the guy make cheese was fun, though.

Sorry, but not impressed at all. Service pretty average. Food- Overpriced completely, for what you get. R90 for two 'Kroketten" and a few green leaves and FAR too much bread. Come on, not nearly value for money. The same goes for the Cheese Schnitzel (R90) Our granddaughter (aged 11) had Lasagne, tiny portion and very dry. What saved the day... More

Disappointed, this venue has so much potential.Upon arrival one feels slightly lost. Need to find your own way around. Struggled to find someone to assist. Lots of goodies to purchase but from a marketing point of view they miss the boat. Service at the restaurant was only slightly better. Local brewers supported at least and marketed here.

We popped past this during our travels through Harties and Magaliesburg. Lovely place with the best cycling trails and beautiful setting. The gardens are gorgeous and well kept. Sad that we were unable to do a cheese making tour as these are only done Wednesday and Saturday, but we shall return to do this specifically. Worth a visit!

We really enjoyed the breakfast at Van Gaalen, and it helps to get there early, since it fills up very quickly. After the breakfast take the time to visit the cheese shop, and to see the cheese production facilities.

We visited Van Gaalen's Cheese Farm and had a lovely afternoon under the trees with wine and two of the cheese plates they offer. It was a nice day out

Had a wonderful cheese making tour. Great walking trail along the river and under the reeds. Wonderful outdoor restaurant seating and nice simple menu. Nice picnicking spot.

Visited the farm for breakfast. Disappointed as very average menu. Would have expected a lot more variation & creativity. Cannot come for cake & coffee . Venue and food choice very under utilized . Great picnic spot & walks. Children friendly. As it is a farm would have expected more homemade/farm choices
