Alan and Jay took three generations out into the deep on the hunt for Tuna. Our plan was to have Grandfather, Son(in-laws) and grandsons all hook a tuna. Alan delivered and we had a wonderful day making memories but also hooking an array of different tuna including several yellow fin (one north of 60 kg) to a long-fin tuna and a bunch of skipjack tuna. We took samples home and have been feasting ever since. Destiny (the boat) is a wonderful vessel with a walk around deck, viewing area on the roof and even a toilet but she is most importantly fast, comfortable, safe and well equipped for fishing!

I have done a few of these trips with different charters over the last 5 years. This was by far the best one. With 26 longvin, not the best fishing🙈 but captain Alan and deckhand Brendon made the trip unforgetable for the 6 of us. Always friendly and willing to help, with there patience and hard work we had a great trip. Thanks again and you will see us soon.

Great Captain and crew, nice boat and fishing gear, with plenty of room for 5 of us all day. Alan made us feel at home from the start and the day just got better by the hour as we landed 42 Yellowtails and Tunas that day - superb experience, definitely will go again as soon as we are back to town

We had a great time with the guys from Cape Boat Chartes. Started early, got to see a lot of furred seal, caught big yellow tail and got to see Cape Point from the Boat. I have to mention that both uf us (My girlfriend and me) were bloody beginners but caught a lot of fish anyways. My girlfriend and me would definitely do this or an even longer trip again. Thank you!

We were looking for a 3 hour rather than 6 hr trip and took time to chose our charter... Alan and Geoff took us out from False Bay Yacht Club on the most amazing experience of our lives. For two elderly and experienced global travellers, Tim and I saw some great penguins, seal colonies and a 500+ pod of dolphins swimming alongside, before Tim saw some of the rare seabirds unseen apart from the currents off Cape of Good Hope. With Geoff’s guidance to the shoals we landed some amazing tuna and decided to stop after 4, the fish being a present to our hosts. Immaculately managed by Alan, it was hard to describe the amusing banter and care also to Tim who is partially disabled, hearing of sea wrecks and sitting back @ the yacht club thinking, did we really just do that?! Huge best wishes to Geoff on his masters in marine biology on hump backed whales, would love bring my daughter back to visit xx Sarah Fenton and Tim Procter
