My wife and I both had a great experience on Mt. Kenya thanks to the professional and genuine members from "Gotomtkenya.com". Our guide Charles and his team Naftary, Sammy, Samuel, and Stephen did everything they could to make us comfortable and keep us well fed. My wife ran into a problem for a couple of days and was not able... More

My fiance and I just got back from a 5-day trek up Mt Kenya with the team from gotomountkenya.com and can easily say it is one of the best things we've ever chosen to do. From the very start, Evans (the owner) was responsive to emails and incredibly helpful choose our perfect route (Chogoria - Simiron, definitely the one i... More

This is one of the best places to visit in Kenya! With a wonderful view from it's slopes and the nice walk through the rain forest it just gets better when you get there. Make a point of visiting to see for yourself! Great!

I had a great trip up Mount Kenya with Zachary, Desmond and David from Go To Mt Kenya. They were really friendly, relaxed and organised meaning all I had to worry about was the great views!

Our friends live in Nanyuki and they were told that Batian's View is the preferred group for the climb. And, it's true. Peter and James led us but we also had several wonderful porters and a cook. The first day we ascended to Old Moses Hut. The temperature really drops at night so bring some heaving long underwear or pj's... More

I did a week long trip to Mount Kenya national park to climb Batian. It was arranged with Go To Mount Kenya who were outstanding. It was easy to arrange, the guides were excellent, and the whole team made the trip great. The park itself is spectacular and we'll worth a visit.

The damage caused by fire is still conspicuous, but the NP is still worth to visit. KWS has the knack of poaching and the flora is yet amazing. If you are not a mountaineer get up by car to Met Station by Naro Moro-Route and then enjoy a short walk through the rainforest jungle. Serena Mountain Lodge is a recommemdable... More

We had an amazing time climbing Mount Kenya with the guide company Go To Mt Kenya who organised our trip smoothly and without any issue. We chose to climb the Sirimon route over 5 days allowing a day camping in the deserted Liki North valley which was well worth it for its stunning location and beautiful isolation which they arranged... Mt Kenya is an outstanding adventure. I hardly knew what to expect as I'd heard little about it before visiting. But there are persistently stunning views, amazing flora, and fascinating geographical features. If you like hiking and mountains, certainly a top site in the world.
