We stopped in Texarkana on our way to Hot Springs. We took a picture in both states Texas and Arkansas. The courthouse is very unique because it is the courthouse and the post office. I wonder how many employees have to learn Texas law and Arkansas laws. There are a few statues around the downtown area. Just a quick stop to stand in both states.

The Texarkana courthouse was built in the middle of the avenue which is the Arkansas-Texas state line. It is unique in that it actively still serves 2 states. It is the most photographed courthouse in the US, second only to the Supreme Court. Many well known figures and entertainers have performed on the line with a foot in each state.
