Took a ride on the Arkansas Missouri Railroad over the weekend. Fun trip!! The 2 1/2 trip from Springdale, Ar to Van Buren, AR was enjoyable as we saw numerous deer as we travel through the countryside. Th a three hour "lay over" was a little long since many of the stores on Main Street were closed but if planned... More

Enjoyed our visit to the Museum! Great learning experience for all ages! Worth the trip, don't think of it as a small museum because its unique artifacts make it interesting! Didn't expect to see beautiful china and rare collectibles! Appreciated the attention to detail!

Very impressed with Springdale Depot museum. Small but lots of rare, unique railroad artifacts. Not the usual tools/photos. Presidential railroad china, menus, relics. David Bowie Russian trip. Displays packed with detail, some one of a kind collectables, etc. For those interested in rare railroad exhibits. FDR items very impressive. Wonderful, but look close or you might miss a real jewell... More

By far the best times to go are Spring and Fall. Summer it gets a little warm and the train runs along areas that are full forest so not much to see. But where there is - the vista is magnificent. Do yourself a favor and upgrade to the upper deck. Worth the money.

We loved riding the train to Van Buren. It was such a great family thing to do. The conductors in each car give history and tell stories or at least ours did. The seats were comfortable and we had plenty of room. Some of the best views.

My father is retired engineer and shares same birthday w my grandson so it was the perfect way for them to celebrate together. We could bring snacks/drinks on board but we didn't. They give tokens for drinks snacks with first class tickets and there was a nice variety of things to choose from. The young servers were very attentive and... More

Enjoyed the trip from Springdale to Winslow including the wooden trestle and tunnel on a lovely Sunday afternoon. The staff was attentive and knowledgable making the trip both fun and educational.

We had this awesome volunteer take us around and give a little history about the different types of trains, which made the visit even better. My husband is a a mechanic and enjoyed seeing just what makes the trains go. We both thoroughly enjoyed this place.
