It signifies a piece of interestingly sad war history. Not many will know about it but check out if in the area of Central Arkansas, south of Little Rock. Glad wr stopped by, the Memorial Park was well done.
Great park built by the American Legion and the DAV about a B-17 Crew in 1943 who died doing their duty to serve this nation. Great place to reflect and pay honors. The Sheridan Army JROTC does their annual flag retirement ceremony there every year...More
While visiting our Son and family in Benton we took the 40 minute drive South to visit the memorial. Although small with a mockup of the B17, we found it interesting and worth our drive. Even our Grandkids found it interesting.
