Hobbs State Park is a quite large conservation area. Lots of greenery. A camping area, hiking trail, picknic areas, a shooting range. Plenty of wield animals. So many things to see and do. Just outstanding! Very close to Beaver Lake.

We went hiking, took the kid 10 and our dog. We had a great time, seen lots of wildlife and met some nice people along the way. Was a good outing.

I enjoyed the several trails I hiked here. It's not quite spring, so the dense woods seem a little airier before the foliage sprouts and obscures many views. Well worth the stop.

Their web site says Cujun_Yan is correct with the visitors center being open 8am through 5pm. Need to allow over an hour to tour the center.
