Very nice experience!

We had a rainy day in Petra and our guesthouse host advised this place. It was such a nice experience! The scrub and massage were excellent and we received free herbal tea. Price was fair. Definitely recommended!

SO RELAXING!!
Nov 2019
This was my first Turkish bath experience and, even though I did not know exactly what to expect, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I never felt so relaxed as I did after this experience. I could just have easily stayed there and slept like a baby all night long. A great way to spend the evening after an exhausting day visiting Petra.

A GOOD PLACE TO RELAX
Feb 2019 • Friends
We are two friends travelling and we just had a very nice turkish bath experience in this place. A must after walking many km in Petra.
Location is one of the most ancient so the atmosphere inside makes you feeling in the old time (it is not a SPA)
The owner made us very welcome, offer some tea and explaining the path to do.
At first we stayed about 20 mins in the steam bath and then we experienced a very nice scrub and massage.
Location is clean and well organised offering towel and restroom with hairdryer and cream.
Very recommended.

just dont expect too much!

A crowded place - people they work there are in a hurry. Towels they gave us were used and wet. The steam room was crowded, no place to sit. The scrub and the massage was far from beeing professional. if you visited a hammam before you will be dissappointed from this place. They are not using products like oil for the massage or something for the scrub.

It's like relaxing on a warm cloud
Jan 2018 • Couples
Great way to pamper yourself after wadi rum and/or a long day climbing the steps of Petra (We went twice).
As a woman I felt completely at ease even though it's a mixed gender hammam. The rooms of the spa are so densely filled with steam that you can hardly see the person next to you. It's like you are floating on a warm cloud, especially when laying on the hot stone.
First time my massage was done by a man and the second time by a woman. Both great and very professional.

Different ... in a good way

You must make a reservation as they only take one party at a time. They picked us up at our hotel. Don't panic when you descend stairs into what seems like a basement. This is obviously a family business, and you can request a female if preferred. The tea was delicious, and the scrub and massage was excellent. While waiting for my friend, I laid/sat on hot tiles which was great. I would highly recommend this.

Great way to relax
Apr 2017 • Couples
Steam room, professional scrub and deep massage with the soap was just what we needed after wandering around Petra all day!
At 24JD each, it was better priced than other hammams we enquired the price of. Came here with my husband as it's a mixed hammam so we were able to enjoy the experience together. Would definitely go again.

Mixed Gender Turkish Bath!
Mar 2017 • Friends
Our guide sold us a Turkish massage option before dinner priced at US$35 including tips. My roommate and I, as well as two female tourmates, agreed to go. The hamam, "Salome Turkish Bath", surprised us by not segregating male and female clients; the men were in the same steam room as the women. The entire experience was good but I had already tried it once before in Kusadasi, Turkey. But I would have been more relaxed if it were not a "mixed" hamam.

Must do after early hike to monument in Petra. It takes years off the old body. I wish we had on in my home town!
