At the end of your 1.2 kilometers hike through the narrow gorge called the Siq or Siqit, The magnificent structure at The Treasury will welcome you - one of the most elaborate Temple in the Nabatean Kingdom.

Simply amazing to see how this building was created. Look closely at how the rock was carved and read up about why it was done this way

Stunning to come down the path to, but doesn't compare in my opinion to the monastery at the top of the hill, and it is tourist central so you cant get as good a view as elsewhere. Definitely a must not miss in Petra though.

The approach to the Treasury is amazing through the narrow Siq. Try and get a local guide to take you on a walk which ends up on a ledge opposite the Treasury.
