This isn't for beginners or people afraid of heights. It's a relatively tough CLIMB. There are couple of sections which requires you to climb using ropes which are already affixed on the rocks. Do not go here in bad weather as it gets extremely slippery...More

Very nice hike in Cordillera Blanca. This is a high altitude hike with amazing surroundings. If you are in good condition it is not difficult but little tiring. Definitely worth to do it to see this beautiful lagoon.

this is a high altitude hike with stunning scenery all around. it's a little bit more difficult than some of the comments would have you believe, but i'd say it's definitely worth the tough ascent to see this beautiful lagoon.

Modest hike to the lake itself with easy transportation available from Huaraz. Far less crowded than the more famous Laguna 69 but really very beautiful

Loved this hike, challenging fir the altitude but totally worth it. There are bits with ropes to hike over rocks, which makes it fun! Beautiful lake.

This hike is doable in one day and a good way to train for multiple day hikes. There are some tricky parts, but altogether ok to do. It’s fine to solo it, be sure to start early as buses back might be gone. Entry fee...More
