This Wadi/Canyon has a bit of everything for the more adventurous from hanging gardens and amazing rock formations to water filled sections where a few swimming strokes are required. Experienced hikers should not find it too difficult and you can not get lost as you just basically follow the wadi bottom. For the less experienced the reassurance of having a... More

Beautiful hike, lots of shade along the way even in hot weather. Do it if you are staying at Feynan EcoLodge

I'd never heard of this wadi until I visited Feynan; it's not one of the usual haunts of Jordan's adventure companies, but although I only hiked a part of the trail, it was clear that this is definitely worth taking a whole day to explore.

The place is mesmerizing, nature is beautiful. if you are staying at Wadi Feynan and want to spend a 6-8 hour hike that will make you feel like you're high on beauty, take the lower track, but you will be faced with a waterfall, so you'll have to walk your way back. although this is a mind blowing experience, yet... if you like easy walking in a beautiful area , this is the spot to be. Spring time is the best time to visit this location.

Amazing landscaping, waterfall, flowers, trees, mountains make it a fun and pleasant hike. Prepare to get wet but also ready to experience the nice canyon. Can be a bit hot during summer time but it is worth it. Amazing landscaping, waterfall, flowers, trees, mountains make it a fun and pleasant hike. Prepare to get wet but also ready to experience... It is easier to start at the top and walk down. There is water and you will get wet, but the scenery is beautiful

Fantastic varied walk. We did it in April and there was some wading involved - maximum waist deep, though most of the gorge was dry. There were a couple of tricky bits which involved clambering down steep rocks, but only for a few metres and the sandstone is grippy enough for it to be within any fit walkers capability. The colours... We did this while we were staying at Feynan Ecolodge, nice but not very easy hiking with dry and wet area. Amazing landscape with different animals

we did a short few hours hike in the wadi and it was worth it despite the fact that its not a straight forward walk. one has to walk through streams of water, climb and jump through rocks etc. the natural beauty of this place is absolutely out of this world. one gets completely lost in this place because of...
