My girlfriend got an instructor here, and instead of staying with her until she was more confident, he just let her fall ON THE FIRST DAY. This lead to an injury to her sacrum bone which caused pain for almost a month after we got back. Also ruined our vacation. Also we paid for 3 days of instructing, and she couldn't use the other two days, but we weren't reimbursed. Very distracted instructors, can't rely on them. However the staff that takes your money and gives you your equipment is very polite and is very nice and communicative. But you're not paying just for that. You're paying for an instructor to teach you how to snowboard.

Been going to bansko for 9 years and used method for the 1st time this year. The booking went smoothly and when we got there everything was ready for us. Excellent service every day and very helpful My girlfriend had a private lesson and this was the best she every had. She developed massively both in skill and confidence. Only minor downside was the opening time was 8am. Luckily the gondola queue was never too big but open 15min early would mean getting to the gondola for opening Highly recommended snow school will be booking with method again next season Thanks method see you next year

Awful snow school. Awful communication. Terrible experience from beginning to end. Booked before we went, for 4 children (in 2 separate groups) and 2 adults. Lessons were awful - and dangerous! (One adult was taken from nursery slope one day, straight to snow Road which was 7.5km the next, despite vocalising safety concerns about lack of experience, and ended up falling and then not being able to ski for the rest of the holiday!) Children were snapped at by instructors, for no reason other than because the instructors were simply bored of doing their job and wanted to go home. 2 of the children actually ended up crying and 1 refused to ski again for the rest of the holiday, after day 1! Communication from Method themselves was appalling, despite us really trying to resolve issues from day 1. Have emailed since our return to UK, and have again received no response! What a waste of £945! Save your money - there are LOADS of fantastic instructors available at the top of the mountain. Terrible, terrible company!

Having been to Bansko last year after many years away from the slopes, I thought I would just pick up where a left off... like riding a bike! To my dismay I realised I was not quite the graceful skier I used to be and spent the entire week working pretty hard to stay upright or at least not going down the mountain head first! I decided that on this trip I would enlist the help of a pro and after reading several glowing reviews about Method Snow School and one of their instructors Maria, I decided to book in for a couple of lessons- and boy did I hit the jack pot! Not only was Fiona on the front desk super helpful and accommodating to my needs, but she went above and beyond on one occasion when the weather was against us and I needed to swop my days around last minute! As for Maria... well I can’t begin to say what an outstanding, professional, friendly and above all PATIENT instructor she is. Not for a second did I feel nervous or uncomfortable.... She really is a dream and from novice to brushing up on past skills I really can’t recommend her enough! Thank you Maria and team MSS for making my holiday so much fun!! Xxx
