This is a beautiful museum featuring all sorts of displays of ancient history when Durrës was Dyrrachion of Illyria. All sorts of statues, amphorae, coins, pottery, and architectural remnants can be found here. Apparently in 2019 one of the upper floors will open featuring items...More

A good archeological museum. Nice and light with the objects set out really well. My favourite items were the gold jewellry.

I believe that the museum is open daily except Mondays but I could be mistaken. The hours are unusual and something like 9am to 11am and 4pm to 7pm. They are closed in the middle of the day. My guide book had the hours... More
