After being picked up at our motel we were given a tour of the local morning food markets which was an amazing experience in itself. Then we were driven to a beautiful home for our cooking class. From the moment we arrived we were so very warmly greeted by Omang who was waiting for us with pancakes and fresh juice and insight into Balinese culture & lifestyle. We made 9 different dishes and we were involved in the process all the way through - chopping mixing and cooking. We were then seated and served everything we had cooked that day a very enjoyable experience. These guys went above and beyond to share as much information with us as they could and a take home book of the reciepes we had cooked that day. There is filtered water available in the kitchen and were we had lunch.

My girlfriend and I had the most amazing time at the cooking class. After being picked up from our accomodation we enjoyed a walk through the local market. Then we were taken to the our cooking class where we warmly met by Omang. What an absolute sweetheart she was! Her boyfriend and herself made us feel like we were with old friends. The cooking class was excellent , the food was delicious. We especially enjoyed the sticky black and white pudding for dessert. Would recommend this activity highly to anyone.

Enjoyable experience for a person who has never tried this b4...I’d recommend 👍 Maybe I should’ve gone last year with my ex-girlfriend and I wouldn’t be here now looking for some answers or direction to this life. I’m content in Bali thanks Made!

We had the best time at this cooking class! We were picked up from our Seminyak Hotel then treated to the local markets (only for locals) then taken to their house for the cooking class. We were welcomed warmly and given a cold drink on arrival. We were educated about the Balinese way of life, their culture and traditions. Our host was funny and her English was very good. She made the entire experience an absolute pleasure. The cooking facilities were clean and modern however you are outside undercover and there was still a lot of tradition. So don’t expect stainless steel bench tops! We made 9 dishes and they were happy to accommodate to any health requests. This was a highlight of our trip! Completely worth doing!!!
