Beautiful coastline with visually stunning black sand beaches. I could see the rips in the surf and as an experienced swimmer there was no way I was going in.
Great to look at, good walks along an "old Bali" beach but take your floaties.

Arrived at Saba beach around 11am on a Sunday morning, and there was no one around except a German couple exploring. We walked up the peaceful beach with stunning views of the nearby island to Keramos beach. Found a lovely Warung to have lunch and stayed there for a few hours. After lunch, went down to the still peaceful beach at Keramos and had a sleep. A beach dog came up to me and stretched out next to me and feel asleep also. It was beautiful. Walked back to the Pantai Saba point and was shocked at how packed the beach had become with locals. My partner and I were the only tourists and we stuck out like sore thumbs and I felt very out of place and a little uncomfortable.
I became worried about my scooters which we had parked at the entrance to Patai Beach. Fortunately, our scooters were there but they had stolen our helmets.
Next time we will drive to Keramos Beach and leave out Saba altogether.

Stayed in a little guest house about 600 meters from the water. Came to surf Keramas about 7 minutes away. We spent our mornings and evenings walking the beach collecting sea glass and other treasures amongst the drift wood and trash. The trash is discerning, but it is the sad reality of Bali. Makes you feel guilty about using plastic. After you get used to trash, you see the beauty of the beach. Long black sand beach with the best sea glass in Bali. A number of high potential surf breaks with nobody out. The locals say it is dangerous, but heavy currents are at every surf break in Bali. I am so tempted to give it a go! Low tide is the best time when the tide pools are exposed. We were the only foreigners on the beach during our 5 days. Very peaceful watching the fisherman and collectors gather round rocks and fine round pebbles for construction projects, or shells for craftwork. So much unique drift wood. This place is Heaven for talented people with a creative eye for making things. The beach is a focal point for the local village. It is part of the fabric of their daily lives. If you want a legit old school Bali experience, Saba Beach is it.

it's a quiet beach with a black sand. i often went here for morning jog and do a bit yoga session when i was staying around Blahbatuh. there's not a lot of people here, just a sate lilit seller and some fishermen.

You can access the beach from Jl. Prof Ida Bagus Mantra, or just use google map to locate it. The beach is so calm, so lonely and so nice, although it's black sands.
No ticket entry, no people offer you to buy anything, no massage women, no sun bed, nothing and nothing. You just stand and have a nice view, calm your soul and feel the breeze...so so cool....
