The views are incredible. Well worth seeing. Entrance to the Adventure Park is required, and if you're so inclined a Serious Zip Line is available. Allegedly the longest in the world, and quite amazing. If you take the Zip Line, you will need to book that first, then a return trip via the Teleferique. I didn't do the Zip Line, but it looked well worth doing. I get twitchy at precarious heights, so just took the Teleferique both ways. Very comfortable, and stunning views. Do it.

The Copper Canyon is amazing to see. Divisadero is easy to reach by the El Chepe train. There are options about which train to use, which direction and length of stay so there is planning involved to get the most out of your visit to this area of Northern Mexico. Local guides are knowledgeable and skilled in the area of planning to meet your needs. We especially enjoyed our drive into the Urique Valley with Mario (Isidro Lodge) and tour at the rim with Rogelio arranged through Copper Canyon Tours (Les and Tammy).

The Teleferico cable car is the best way to see the canyon. It starts high on the canyon rim and takes you across to a mountain in the middle of the canyon. It is guided with a tour guid who can answer questions, and the other side has bathrooms and more vendors. Views are fantastic from that high up. It is a Swiss-made and installed tram, so any issues about safety are not there as it is the same type tram as they use in the Alps. I would have rated it 5 stars, but it was crowded both directions and a little uncomfortable with so many people (granted, the max capacity is 60 and we probably had about 40).

We walked from the Hotel Mirador to the station which was a pleasant 40min walk through the woods. The installation is quite new and looks immaculately maintained. The ride of some 10min to the other end gives a great overview over the 3 canyons and shows how some people live in a very harsh environment. The staff is very friendly and gives interesting information of the area, the indigenous people and the activities. A MUST to ride the tram.

We did this after our 7 stage zip line. It was good to be able to relax and view the canyon. Even though you know it is safe it is still a bit scary. Well worth doing

One can experience the feeling of flying in one of the most beautiful areas in Mexico. Copper Canyon in Divisadero with its Adventure Park offers to visitors the opportunity to enjoy flying in the fastest, tallest and most impressive zipline on Earth. In a matter of two minutes, one will fly at an altitude of over 1300 feet and will cover 1.6 miles. While in the Cable Car, it will take 8 minutes to travel in a 60 passenger Gondola 1.8 miles. The Gondola goes back and forth every 20 or 30 minutes, carrying the most adventurous back to the station "A" after enjoying the zip line rides. After riding the ziplines or the Cable Car in Copper Canyon, one seems that the bucket list has one less thing to do. Marvelous experience in a most gorgeous scenario.

a really impressive view, a 9 minute ride to a mountain in the middle of Copper Canyon, where you can see the the canyons from the cable car and the stations, the awesome depth of the canyon, a distant river far below, an indian village and scattered indian cottages. I loved it

Any description or photograph would fall short before the impressive magnitude of this place. It is impossible to miss the zip lines to admire, even for some moments, the views from impossible places.

The trip into the canyon provides amazing views and interesting tidbits of history. You can spend as little as 30 minutes or up to 1-2 hours on this activity depending on how much time you want to explore in the canyon depths.
