A lot of walking between the field and your vehicle. Not the best choice for younger children. My 4 year old was bored after 45 minutes of not really finding much. We didn't find much (the adults) but had a good time looking anyway.

I don't know if we found any diamonds or not but we had fun digging and washing gravel all day long. What a great time to be outdoors. Come here to enjoy the place and maybe find a diamond or two.

Looking for diamonds is an experience--at least you can say you tried! Odds are against finding the big one, but enjoy the outside and a bit of physical exertion for a bit. The place is well-organized for the diamond hunter.

Didn't find any diamonds and it is hard work, but it's definitely worth the experience at least once. I gave only a 4 because the ladies that look at the gems for you were quite rude. The ones in the gift shop were really nice...More

About 500 per year over the past few years. It varies from year to year depending on how many visitors they have. You can see the yearly statistics at their website in the Media // Diamond Statistics menu.
