We love going here to get our grandson's fave syrup, but they have so much more, like a free museum(very small, but interesting), please leave a donation for them. And the hummingbirds out on the back balcony are so calming to watch. They have a great gift shop. Please take a detour from the interstate and drive 71 Scenic Byway. (may want to call ahead to see if open due to Covid-19.)

My daughter and her husband came from Canada for a visit, so we went exploring. Artists Point is amazing. They have a small museum and a view that is truly breath taking.
They have about 10 or 15 hummingbird feeders hung outside huge windows and they are always busy. You can buy a feeder and take it home. I have 6 now. They have some local crafts and preserves, as well as windchimes and other gift ideas.
Corky is the in house entertainment. He's a talking cockatoo.
Go by if you are in the area.

We went to this spot, which is not well known, based on reviews on TripAdvisor. I really liked it and the views are spectacular. I would highly recommend early morning. Dawn if you can as the valley faces east.

It had been raining quite a bit before we got there and we were warned that the trail down to the lake could be too dangerous for us. We are not real experienced hikers and so we elected to enjoy the views from the top.

My friends and I have gone here for a while now as it is the local go to sunrise spot. It has gorgeous views and is always a great time. We were so disappointed to find that the entire scenic view had been roped off along with the parking spots. We tried to take a picture of the scenery and were yelled at to leave the property. Such a disappointing visit after many great ones. Many of our friends have had similar experiences. Highly recommend the cafe a little while up the road for sunrises, photos, and good food! Artist point is not worth the time but the area is beautiful.

A truly wonderful view. Right beside the highway. No walking required. Fall colors are breath taking.;No need to go to New England.

It was a nice hike down into the valley. A lot of boulders to look at and admire. The natural bridge is pretty awesome. The creek bed was nice although there was no running water in it at the time. My only complaint about the trail was the hike back. The entire hike out was uphill and the vary last stretch is a killer. I'm talking about the 45 degree hillside you have to track up. But it is a nice view at the top (the start of the trail) especially when the leaves are changing and very quiet and peaceful in the valley. I recommend this trail to anyone, but keep in mind of the workout.

We just stopped for photos in mid-November 2018. Fall colors had faded because they'd already had an early frost, but still beautiful!

Very pretty view, but there are lot's of pretty views along scenic U.S. 71 Short hike to a little waterfall is rather steep coming back up. Nice gift shop where we bought some hand-made jams. Off the beaten path. Worth the stop, but for me, there wasn't anything spectacular to set it apart along the drive.

Sure there is a good view, nice little gift shop, interesting little museum, a chance to get some refreshments, and see the cockatoo. But the real reason to stop is to see all of the hummingbirds. Multiple feeders are constantly being swarmed by the beautiful little birds. Kids always love to see the amazing colorful hummingbirds . . . kids of all ages.

If in the area make sure to drive AR 71. Great road, lots of curves and beautiful views. Artist Point is just one of many places to stop.
