If you love a running stream and the sounds of a waterfall, this is the place for you. Not far to walk from the parking area.

We stopped by here while visiting the caverns. Beautiful and not a long walk from the road. I would recommend a quick stop here since you are already at the caverns.

The hike to the springs is paved and there is a boardwalk that goes above the mill and falls at Mirror lake plus a short hike between the two. You can get down to the mill via a little path near the handicap parking. Shelter Cave interesting to see but is basically a two minute thing. Big thing in this... More

Stopped at the rec area after touring the cave and saw where the water exits the cave. The water is about 56 degrees so no swimming here, but we went further down the road where the creek is much warmer and there are little beaches to relax. The water is crystal clear was nice on a hot July day.

Our family spent the day wandering around and playing in the water. Beautiful streams, waterfalls and rock formations . If you are anywhere near this area, give yourself a few hours to enjoy this beautiful place.

Water feels amazing. There's also a fun water hole for kids/family to swim in. We love old architecture so we loved the old mill. The kids loved picking up rocks & discovering all the different kids of wildlife, Crawdads, sucker fish, snails, ect.

We enjoyed the beauty of the Blanchard Springs park. Just driving through was a joy. The icing on the cake was a hot July afternoon spent swimming in the icy cold water. Perfect!

Blanchard Caverens is really worth the time to go see! It has been called one of the prettiest cave formations in the country by people who wrote a guide book on caves. The spring coming out of the caves is very pretty also. My daughter was married there with the spring as a back-drop.

It has a wooden walkway along one side that you can fish from. Trees provide shade this walkway from the afternoon sun It is well stocked with rainbow trout. You can see... More
