This is a must see, if you are in the area. Blanchard Springs Cavern is a living cave. The Dripstone Tour lasts about an hour and is packed full of formations. Curtains, popcorn, stalactites, stalagmites, and columns are some of the different types of formations you will see. The Cathedral Room will leave you speechless. Remember to bring a long... More

My husband and I did the 1.1.5 hour tour (contained 700 steps!). It was doable, we took breaks fairly often. Our tour guide, gary, was very humorous and informative. I'm very thankful people recognized the value of preserving beautiful places like these caves. It was well worth the time. I would recommend calling ahead or reserving tickets in advance, as... Fun, interesting, and informative trip. Great outing anytime, but especially on a hot, summer day. 58 degrees in the cave so bring a light jacket. It can be damp also.

I took my Girl Scout Troop here on an end of the year trip. We did the Dripstone Tour and everyone in our group absolutely loved it! The girls enjoyed taking pictures and videoing the whole tour. Our guide was wonderful and when we were falling behind due to the small kids we had with us, they were patient and... More

This is a little surprise in North Central Arkansas. They have 2 levels of caverns to tour and then a third for the more adventurous. These are full of wondrous sites. They have a beautiful camground along the creek, a great place to swim or just laze around on a tube or air mattress. Lots of sightseeing around the area... More

We were so glad that we were able to visit these caverns. They were awesome!! Our guides were so great!! Both told us they had been with the caverns just a few months, but you would have never known that. They were very informative on the caverns, formations, and history of the caverns. These caverns are operated by the US... More

My husband and I met some friends from MS at Sylamore Creek and it has been the hottest weather we've had in ages. We planned to do the Dripstone Tour at 1:45 and gave ourselves a couple of hours to do a little exploring of the spring, Mirror Lake and have a picnic lunch. So by the time we got... More

A gem not to be missed. I bring guests there whenever they come and visit and I never get tired of visiting the cave. There are different tours to explore the cave - from gentle walking to crawling. In my 9 years here, I have already gone at least 8 times. Every time I go, it feels different. Eat at... More

The best in cave experiences is to be had at Blanchard Springs. I have toured these caves so many times over the last forty years that I have lost count of the number which is most likely more than thirty-five. Blanchard Springs is NOT a tourist trap. The entire place is presented and managed in a first class way. I... More
