Only had the choice of one tour due to the time of year. It was great. It is a live cave so still forming and it had a lot of great formations. Guide was very friendly, informative and knowledgable. We especially appreciate that we now know we want to look for is "show caves". Not a difficult walk but would... More

Blanchard Springs Caverns were absolutely stunning. We took the Discovery Trail that takes you 1.2 miles through the caverns. We have previously been to Tucklaleechee Caverns in Tennessee and Florida Caverns State Park and Blanchard was definitely the most beautiful of the three. If you take the Discovery Trail that it has strenuous parts of the trail including 700 steps... More

We took the "easy" tour, the Dripstone, it moved along and was captivating. Wear non skid shoes, as the cement path is wet from the atmosphere of the cave. Also the handrails are slick and really should be made somewhat grippy (for us older folks) But it was a nice jaunt through the underground. Amazing though when told specifically not... More

This is the third time we have visited the caves, 2 on the hour long tour and one on the 1:45 hour tour. We keep wanting our kids to see the 1.45 tour but it is open only from Memorial Day through Labor Day. We see new stuff every time. If the swimming area is closed on the park go... More

I've been in a few caves but none were close to the ones here. The staff are all very friendly and the tour for $10 was we'll worth it. The guide was hilarious and I know me and my girlfriend had a great time. The tour ticket doubles as a free parking pass for Mirror Lake afterwards btw! Just place... More

We were staying about 40 miles away from the caverns and decided to drive over. It was worth the drive. The caverns were very large and beautiful. There is a film to watch beforehand and an exhibit hall. You take an elevator down, then there are walking paths. It is run by the forestry department. Our guide was knowledgeable and... More

The trip there is fiddly with twisty, turny country roads, but well worth it! This is a beautiful cavern with an excellent guide. It is wheelchair accessible but with some steep bits. Reservations for the Dripstone tour are not necessary, but you might consider them during the summer season or weekends. We were lucky to just walk in and get... More

This is a really pretty cave that is a fun and interesting place to visit. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. The elevator down and bus ride back made viewing the cave very easy for those who may have mobility problems. Also, the ramps and sidewalks were very well constructed and were skid resistant.
