Old car museum

This is a nice self guided museum. There are many old cars and other old artifacts from back in the far past to enjoy.

Close enough for a day trip that included breakfast at Mather Lodge at Petit Jean Mtn Lots of well kept vintage machines and motorcycles. Of special note were the Ford Ranchero owned by Elvis during his brief foray into ranching in the mid 60s; JFK's personal Lincoln convertible, and 2 purple caddys driven by Winthrop Rockefeller. Several pedal car versions... More

We were lucky to visit this museum on a day when we had the entire place to ourselves. The exhibition is all about antique US cats mainly from Ford and Chevrolet. The cara on display are immaculately kept and there is good info on each of them. Nice small antique gun collection as well. A great way to while away... More

If you are not white, expect to be treated different. Prejudicial overtones are aplenty. Museum was great

There are also old school buses and really great, awesome amazing cars. you can also purchase some souveniers in their shop... More

This car museum is a nice stop when going to Petit Jean State Park. They have a good collection of vintage cars and motorcycles. The kids enjoyed learning details you can read about each car, like original price and horse power.

This is just a neat little car musuem. It makes you realize just how far cars, and motorcycles have come! There are a couple of cars from the Rockefeller collection, and even one of Elvis' cars! The staff is very friendly. They host several little car shows and then a car show and swap meet twice a year.

This is a nice, air-conditioned, interesting and enjoyable stop, located on your drive between Stout’s Point, where you view Petit Jean’s grave, and the Petit Jean State Park Visitor Center. I agree with the other reviewers that this museum houses a wonderful collection, including a 1951 Cadillac limousine that I had not seen at other museums. The cars and fountain... More
