We spent several hours exploring this park due to time constraints but I would have liked more time. This is a great park and I would have loved to spend some time hiking. etc. We took the boardwalk to the Cedar Falls Overlook - an easy walk back to a gorgeous view of the falls. We also had a picnic... More

My husband and I visited Petit Jean State Park recently for our anniversary and it was a special treat. I loved the architecture. It's also pet friendly so we brought our little dog who is really our four legged child! Bucky had as much fun as we did, I think. Our hike to the falls was amazing and not as... More

We loved Petit Jean State Park. Our duplex cabin was clean and cozy. The hiking was amazing! We did a 7 mile hike and plan to come back for more hiking on the trails we didn't get to go on due to rain and time. Our favorite trails were the Cedar Falls trail and the Bear Cave trail!

This has the most scenic view you will find in Arkansas. It will take several hours just to take in all the views. There is a campground and a very good restaurant on site. You can picnic, play, hike, and enjoy the waterfall! I love it there!

Beautiful park. Many hiking trails and a few park programs. Lodge has small swimming pool. Campgrounds have larger pool but hours are restricted. Biggest complaint is tvs in rooms got 5 channels and only 1 of those was a major channel (CBS). Ok I know you go there for nature but to be able to get some news or late... More

My family loved this park, we stayed in a one bedroom rustic cabin. The park is absolutely gorgeous and kept very clean. The cabin we stayed in had everything we needed and was also very clean. We brought a blow up mattress and had ample space for a family of 5 in a one bedroom. The highlight of the trip... More

This is place has a lodge and cabins for rent. It has walking trails, etc for the outdoor people. It is on the Petit Jean Mt.. The restaurant has fantastic food. We were doing family history in the area and decided to stay here instead of the hotels in town. The price for the lodge is reasonable and the food... More

This park has it all! Trails, wonderful overlooks to beautiful scenery, camping, picnic areas, fishing, fishing licenses sold at visitor center, small boat rentals and bait at boathouse, swimming pool, basketball and tennis courts. If you are not a camper, the Mather Lodge is reasonably priced. Very relaxing and peaceful!

My wife and I took our family to this state park for an extended weekend and we had an amazing time. The views are GORGEOUS and it's hard to believe this area is within driving distance of DFW. There are plenty of places to stay in the area - we found a place that accommodates pets and is situated on... More

Quick trip to see the waterfall and Mountain vistas. Lots of hiking trails, lots of shade, swimming pool, playground and cabins for rent. Would love to return when the leaves are changing color and unplug for a long weekend!
