Lots of little, safe, rock-scrambling opportunities - fun little short, easy hike around/under/through big rocks. Several little caves kids will love.

Easy trail to walk. Very close parking and can see the caves with only a short walk. Lots of shade out of the direct sun. It’s well marked and easy to follow. Very interesting rock formations

We hiked to the Bear Cave via Mather Lodge instead of the trail head. This allowed us to explore more of the grounds than just walking around the cave area itself. Very cool rocks to climb and explore.

My favorite walk in this park. The huge rocks create a cathedral like energy, I was lucky to have it all to myself on a quiet September morning. Take your time, relax and feel the deep earth energy.

We walked there from the top of the Cedar Falls trail, its about .5mile, but there is a carpark right next to it. Fun place for a few minutes - would be a great hide and seek venue

Since it's right off Cedar Falls trail, it's worth the extra steps and climbs to see the cave that isn't a cave. Be sure to look off to the sides and catch the skyline off to your side.

Very cool very short trail. Super for kids with holes in the walls, rocks to climb and look at. Scary lookin cliff and an overhang balancing rock. Kids will love it I promise, from toddlers to teens.

This is a short trail but there are steps and some walking on rocks involved. The sandstone cave was impressive due to its size and forested surroundings. The so-called turtle rocks because they look like the carapace of a turtle were also very impressive. You...More

Definitely no young chicken (nearly 80) but in good physical health and had no problems hiking any of the trails. There is so much to see.

This trail leads to Bear Cave. It's a short circular trail with some neat rock formations and boulders. I don't recommend peaking in Bear Cave - it was awful! The overwhelming stench of urine just about knocked us over!
