Overall I enjoyed the cruise to Hydra, Poros and Aegina. The cruise ship Anna Marou was reasonably comfortable and clean, and staff were friendly. There were enough seats but you had to look out for people who waste seats just for their bags or to use as footrests. However, the day was too rushed because I took two of the optional tours. Despite reassurances that we would have free time at the end of the tours, this was not enough. Just enough time to get straight back to the boat. Lunch was good even though I was in the 2nd group.

Took an all-day cruise from the Athens Port to 3 islands - Hydra, Poros and Aegina. The ferry was huge, but filled up quickly with all seats by the tables taken. I would suggest early arrival to the port. The trip on the Aegean Sea is great (as long as you are not baking in the heat), and you leave the ship 3 times to visit the 3 islands. Frankly, there was not much to do on the first 2 islands (Hydra and Poros), except take photos, eat ice cream and buy souvenirs. The ferry only stays here 40 - 60 minutes. After the trip to the first island there is lunch served in groups in the restaurant area of the ferry. The lunch was delicious, with choices of different meats, fish, rice and pasta. On the third island, Aegina, we decided to take a tour offered on the ferry. The tour took us to the Church of St. Nectarius and around the island. We saw how pistachio trees grow and tried some of the local ice cream. We also visited a temple of Aphaia, which was very impressive. On the way back, there was a 45-minute long folklore program of music and dance. Some of it included interactive parts, where some volunteers learned how to dance the Greek dance sirtaki, Although being on the ferry for a whole day can be tiresome, this is definitely an experience one must try when in Athens.

The day cruise to Hydra, Poros and Aegina was great! The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. It was a comfortable boat with lots of room to roam. Staff was helpful and attentive. Picked us upon time as agrees. Great way to get a different feel of Greece and the islands. Highly recommend

This cruise is a rip off from start to finish. The food is disgusting. If you want a drink 4 euro for a can of coke 6 euro for a coffee. They try to sell you tours 25 euro for a walking tour. Absolutely terrible. The cruise is ok but I definitely do not recommend everything is way over priced and the service appalling. All they want to do is sell you stuff It started of with the pictures on the way in constantly telling you to make your way to reception to but photos. The most tacky bad taste thing I have ever done. As for the food well there are no words that's how bad it was.

Do NOT take this cruise without upgrading to VIP. Without being in VIP, you will be jammed in close, hot quarters with small portholes to look out (this is a big ship with TONS of people). In VIP, you have great amenities (among them being actual air conditioning), upgraded meals and special service. It’s a long day, so plan accordingly. You will be out there 12+ hours. On Hydra, we did the walking tour (free for VIP, upcharge if in regular seating). The tour was nothing special- we would have been disappointed if we would have paid for it. I recommend just doing your own thing- hit the shops, grab a drink or just enjoy the view. The second stop was short on Poros- this was 30 minutes, so we grabbed a quick gelato and got back on board. Egina was the last stop- we did this one right. We grabbed a drink at a bar in the port and enjoyed some relaxation. There were many upgrade your options on this island, but you will be exhausted by the time you get there. Last disclaimer is the boat ride to the first island was about 3 hours and then it was 2+ back. If you do not want to sit in a boat all day, skip this tour.
