Sightseings and tour are beautiful, road-boat-road trip is worthy. The village is very poor, a central market generates garbage and beware of any touristic restaurant - it's a shame to it food, and it's not cheap at all. Las Pinguineras is a Nature Trip -...More

In my stay at the Hostel Casa Pistacho, the greatest activity that the girls could recommend me was going to Ancud and see PENGUINS. I couldn't imagine that one day in my life I would be able to see these incredible creatures in their own...More

Chiloe island is a very good place to stay for an eco-holiday. Nevertheless this pinguinera is a normal outdoor activity. Better check periods of sightseeing for penguins and whales as they are not stantials. The only company that make tour services has good guides.

A really good activity to do while in the area and quite inexpensive. We got the bus from the local bus station at midday and one back to town at 5.15pm. It costs 2000 pesos each way. The pinguineras are the last stop so no...More

Loved driving on the beach, lunch at the restaurant there and the whole operation being very well run. You don't get wet at all. Loved it and definitely recommend.
