We had the challenging 4D3N trek. We literally believe reviews that mentioned it is leisure trek but we were wrong. We climbed two mountains and visited two crater rims. Views were awesome beyond words but the terrains are treacherous and most time we had to be on 4 limbs. Far from a leisure trek. The duration we took doubled from what was stated in the itineraries. We are no amateurs but we had been to ABC and EBC base camps in Nepal, KK in Malaysia, My Pulag in the Philippines and East Himalayas. Rinjani trek is by far, the most challenging one we experienced. I would still strongly recommend if you are up to it
