You can spend here a lot of time. We were with 3 kids and they were not boring.
There are a lot of old houses. Nice place to learn how people used to live in the past.
17 PLN ticket - kids under 7 years old don't need to pay

Museum-Park, which I visit every year for 40 years and admire what has changed, what has happened new. Over the years the Park has grown, now there is a lot of space, wonderfully clean, clean toilets, restaurant on site. I used to sail a boat from Golun when it was old there is a lot of parking space in the communist holiday resort, now only by car, surrounded by beautiful old buildings, the vegetation is also great.

Loads of history on this open air museum
Really beautiful and well done
Little walk to see all the 33 houses, Church's, windmill, stables, etc.
Most of them was open, with people in some of the houses explaining all the history.
Good to go with kids as they have funny trolleys (wagon) to put the kids and push
Restaurant and toilets around
Not good place for wheels chair.

The museum stems back from 1906. The creators of this unique open air museum were Teodora and Izydor Gulgowski, who first in Poland started this concept.

They bought a peasant cottage and they gathered the typical household and farm, and a valuable collection of gold-embroidered traditional hats (czepiec), paintings on glass and ceramics.

At this moment open air museum is situated on 22 ha area and is situated at the Lake Gołuń. It consists of 45 objects: cottages, manor houses, school, blacksmith shop, windmills, church, farm buildings and workshops.

They present the richness and diversity of rural architecture from the period from the seventeenth to the twentieth century. The interior consists of authentic furniture, and other household elements.

This was the best open-air museum I have ever been at. Me and my little kids were delighted and, somehow by the way, we learnt a lot about life in the region in the past. Great experience!

It's very difficult to rate the visit in Kaszubski Park Etnograficzny. Only a few objects were open and available for visiting, but they were very interesting and guides had a lot to tell (though they could be a bit more proactive). However, more than half of the objects were closed and nobody warned us about it beforehand! I would recommend making sure that the Museum is actually fully *open* before buying your ticket.

Strange concept but it was interesting to look at these wooden buildings. They have all been moved from the city to this one location. Some are over 300 years old

This is an open air museum and excellent example of a rich local culture going way back in time. The exhibits are immaculate, and organized to smallest details. Houses and their furnishings were all equally interesting, from the rich households to the modest peasant’s quarters. There is also a church, which is part of the museum and service is still held on Sundays, people get married here as well. The museum is covering a large area of land, and there are no paved roads, or sidewalks. I also did not see benches to sit and rest or toilets.
We were visiting off season and during a time when no events were scheduled. On the plus side we didn’t deal with crowds, on the negative side, we missed opportunity to see rituals, experience workshops etc.
The downfall was our guide -completely lacked enthusiasm – she would rattle out basic info about the house we were entering, and then stood there like a statue without saying a word, unless she was asked a question. She was very knowledgeable- that much we figured out, and could have brought this place to life if she tried. We were showing a lot of interest in pretty much everything, but not once did she take an initiative to explain more on her own, and her demeanor was discouraging rather than encouraging communication. I feel like we missed out on a lot because of her (and the fact that we visited outside the summer season). It is too bad, because otherwise it would have been excellent experience.
