Take a gopro if you have one. They don't allow any other items with you. No cell phones are allowed for safety reasons. Lockers are available to rent. We loved our excursion! Please note the open buggies do not have power stearing. "Black Coffee" was a great tour leader. Buggy adventure starts out with getting your gear. Make sure you take goggles, gasses and a bandana or make sure to buy the ones they offer there. You will definitely need them! Then a short information and instructional meeting. You then strap into a buggy and are on your way down dusty, muddy, and bumpy Dominican back roads. I do want to say to make sure that you DO allow them to take your photo whenever they try. I do not usually like this because we know they will try to sell the pictures at the end, but OMG they are amazing pictures! We bought them all. You are going to want them! The tour takes you first to Cabo Engano beach (where the Atlantic and Caribbean meet). This beach definitely shows signs of the recent hurricane which was explained when we learned on this tour that this beach is only 17 miles south of Puerto Rico. After a short stop at this beach you strap back into your buggy and are off again and a short time later are at an abandoned mine where you get to take a few laps in a track lined by tires (fun!) and then back on the dirt/mud roads for a little drive. The last buggy stop is at a educational tour of a Dominican home where you get to walk through the home and learn about cigar making and sample some if you like. They show you a typical Dominican store where you can buy items as momentos and learn about cacao, coffee, cigars, and mamajuana. After done there you get to finish the drive back to the adventure park. Once at the park you are served a traditional Dominican meal which is VERY good. We finished our meal and were able to walk down a beautiful pathway to take a swim in their waterfall pool (gorgeous!). It's cool and refreshing and we were never rushed. Make sure to try the Garra Rufa foot spa (google it!). We enjoyed our time with this excursion and would definitely return for their other excursions offered. Our transportation to and from the excursion was in an air conditioned bus and was timely and professional. We look forward to visiting again. THANK YOU Bavaro Adventure Tours for a memorable time.

I went to the park with my husband and kids and had a good time overall! I would not rate it good since we have a bit of trouble when riding the buggies as my husband got lost while riding, there is no signals to follow a trail and at some point him and my daughter were riding on their own as all staff members were going full speed. Seems no one noticed until we arrived which is very disappointing. This should not happen at all!!! The park director was aware and did not even come to apologize...

Booked a half day VIP trip with Polaris Buggies and the Waterfall pool. Great time had by all. My wife loved scaring the hell out of me in the buggies (she was driving) and the pummelling that I got from the waterfall afterwards was just great! Shout out to our guide Carlos who was excellent.

Visited this park on Feb 22. We did the package choose 5 + 2 either Dominican village , Eco tour or waterfall. Booked thru hotel Sunwing nexus. The packages was 139 half day & picked up and drop off negotiate for $110 plus free Dominican lunch fixed food no choice hockey and yellow rice ( not the greatest taste 🤢) arrived at 8.45 am. First impression was oh no. But we did zip line pro 7 courses right away. It was the best of all ... can’t compare to Xplore Fuego in Mexico but was good enough. Staff looked tired and bored 😮. They expected you to tip every stations you stop. My 2 tour guides I didn’t remember the names. Park looked alright. Anyway, nice to get out from the hotel but not sure worst the money. Pictures we did negotiated all pictures 276 + one video for $90 Instead of $156 not a greatest deal but a memory piece. They wouldn’t allowed you to bring phone unless go pro. Another money catch.
