About
Ocean Adventures Punta Cana presents the only and unique Dr. Fish Ocean Spa, a great opportunity to combine the amazing natural environment with a great variety of spa treatments that will leave your body revitalized. While our exclusive floating spa is sailing along Bavaro's palm-tree-lined beaches, you will experience a Bio Pilates class; simple breathing and stretching exercises that will refill your body with new Dominican energy !! Prepare yourself for a detox treatment. Our machines will send a low ionic impulse through your body that will help release all the toxins via the pores of your feet. Two massages will be offered to you. One, in a private cubicle with a professional masseuse therapist who will rub down all your muscles from the tip of your head to the tip of your toes. The second one, on our electronic massage beds that will take your stress and muscle pain away. You will end up meeting the most special dermatologists, called "Dr. Fish". These tiny little fish will gently nibble on your skin and exfoliate the dead cells of your feet. Ocean Spa will indulge your senses. Watch out... You may get addicted!

Honestly, I’m not sure where to begin — this was not at all what we expected it to be. When booking this excursion, we were under the impression it was an intimate experience for us as a couple and it was not. There are several other people on this excursion. Staff was rushing to rotate the different activities — ionic foot detox, floating in the ocean, massage, and yoga. We were unable to thoroughly enjoy each experience and staff seemed very scattered. Our “included lunch” was a wrap, which I was disappointed with considering all these other reviews included lunch at a floating dock while watching dolphins. The massage was a joke and the two different masseuse we encountered were not consistent and the massage was short, as well as there was a lack of privacy from other individuals. There was also not a stingray as promised. We don’t recommend this excursion. Book a massage at the resort you’re staying at. You’ll have a better time.

It was our anniversary trip and wanted a special day. We chose to do the Ocean Spa. All was great. They take you out on the sea, you get massages, some yoga and a few other spa treatments. Then we went to lunch where you could watch the dolphins. The staff was great. Especially Arells ( not sure if I spelled that correct). She was very attentive to everyone and even gave us a bottle of wine for our anniversary! Would highly recommend this excursion!

I went on the ocean spa boat. The fish pedicure was so much fun to watch and they do a very good job! Better than the salons. I had to wait 45 minutes to get on the boat so I went to the only gift shop and it was expensive.
The massage was very good! I gave the masseuse a tip and she said were supposed to give it to the tip box. Wear a bikini because they want you to so you can get your massage and exfoliation.
Then ther is a yoga class which is basic. Then you get a foot detox in a small tub. They put the device in the water and after about 10 minutes the water slowly changes colors. The young woman next to me had light tan water. I am in my mid fifties and mine was orange. The three older woman further down had dark brown water.
After a while sediment starts to form. Then you go lie on mats which are attached to the boat. Then you go to the included lunch.

Overall the excursion was different and everyone was very nice. The price was $150.00 which is very inexpensive.

We only had time to do one excursion during our trip and this was a great choice! It was my husband's first time having a fish manicure and it ws fun to watch him squirm a bit. Relaxing yoga followed that (One downside was that party boats with loud music kept passing it by during it). Body scrub and table massage followed that. Then we were able to float on rafts in the ocean (away from the seaweed closer to the shore which was perfect). The water was shallow enough that we were able to leave the mat and relax for a bit in the ocean. Last thing we did on the boat was the ionizing foot scrub with a snack and some refreshing drinks. Finished the excursion up docking at a restaurant where there were dolphins and an optional massage performed by a sting ray (which we gladly did. It was so cool having it flutter across your front and back). The meal we had afterwards was one of the best lunches we had had - chicken kabobs and rice. Plenty of deck chairs and places to relax on board. Staff was super professional and nice. It claims to be a 3 hour excursion but it was about 5 hours, not including transportation to and from. Loved every minute of it!

This was the BEST excursion we did on our vacation to Punta Cana. Everyone from 18 to 59 years old absolutely loved it. We definitely got our monies worth. The staff was efficient and very friendly. I would recommend it to anyone especially ladies.

We had the best day on our Dr. Fish ocean spa day. Such a fun, relaxing and beautiful day. Started out on shore with the fish pedicure then boarded the boat and did yoga/meditation then an exfoliating massage/scrub then a relaxing massage and off to the floating beds in the ocean. Then we did a foot detox while drinking fresh pineapple and eating nuts. Then they took us to a floating restaurant for a wonderful lunch while watching the dolphins. So much more then we expected. A definite must!

This was FABULOUS! My friend and I went on this excursion and we thoroughly enjoyed it from the fish spa, to the; exfoliation scrub, massage, yoga on top deck ionizing foot soak with ginger tea, floating in the water on mats to the fabulous dolphins swimming to greet and entertain us for lunch. Would definitely do it again during the next DR visit!

The responsible was very helpful, smiley and kind. The other persons on the ship are not very smiley and they seems to feel bad being there. The massage was also too rough to my taste and the auto massage tables are not something interesting to be in... The weather was not good, it was raining, so I think the activity should have been canceled, because we didn't really enjoyed it, and it was a lot due to the weather. The distance from our hotel was quite far, so considering the weather and the opened truck, we were not comfortable at all. I do not recommend this activity.
