This was a remarkably fun activity and a surprisingly awesome way to see the real countryside away from the microcosm of the resort hotels (where we spent most of our time). Mark, our guide, was knowledgeable, funny, and an all around great guy who showed us so many things we simply would not have gotten to see without an expert... More

This was so much fun! Mark was awesome guide! It hasn't rained do we didn't have mud (soo glad!) but we still got dirty! So neat to see how the Dominican people live. Very informative. Buggy's were comfortable and didn't hurt your back which surprised me. Highly recommend keeping your mouth closed while driving... lol! Visited a typical home, sampled... More

My family of four took the half-day tour with Mark guiding us. We had the most amazing time! Our group consisted of two buggies for my family, one other buggy with a couple who were also from the states, and two ladies in Mark's buggy. Mark is Canadian, therefore we were all able to communicate. We made several stops along... More

We did the half day tour on our last day in Punta Cana. It was great to get out of the resort and its perfectly manicured grounds to see where 7 of the 11 million people really live. In hindsight we should have done this first and done the full day. The buggy itself was an absolute blast to drive,... More

What an amazing fun day!! Did the half day and it was so much fun...it's a Manuel VW transmission. So make sure you know how to drive a stick shift . Not as many mud puddles since it hadn't rained much but believe me their was enough. Bring candy to throw to the kids waiting for the buggies to come... More

This was definitely the best thing we did on our vacation. My husband, two teenage girls and I loved it. Of course my husband drove as it was a manual VW bug transmission. Didn't get as muddy as expected but still splashed in a couple puddles to soak us. Great coffee and chocolates at our first stop and learned about... More

First and foremost, I absolutely HATE mud. But I LOVE venturing outside of these cushy all-inclusives to see the real culture of the places I visit. I went on the full-day trip, and I highly recommend it. You will get disgustingly muddy - that is a fact. But you will also see the most beautiful sites in the Dominican, and... More

You need to be able to drive stick, bring a scarf/bandanna to cover your nose/face. You drive on paved roads up to 50 mph, then back in the country side for most of the tour. You stop at different sites and you get a real education on the people and the culture including visiting a persons farm/store/house. Bring some hard... More

Went on half day tour with my husband. We were really looking forward to this tour. When we got there we had to wait as boss forgot to pick up some guests. My husband is quite short 5 foot 4 so had to have extra cushion at his back as struggled to reach clutch. When we eventually got going our... More

My wife and I booked the half day tour for two passengers. Mark was our guide, he was very welcoming from the moment we stepped into the shop. The whole experience was awesome. We drove around the country side mostly. We made four stops and each stop had its 10 to 15 minutes of what's around us. Mark was very... More
