An Unforgettable Experience

My friend and I booked this tour with Leandro and had an amazing time. Well worth the early start where we were picked up at 7:30 from our hotel in Punta Cana. Everything was well organized and communicated before, during and after the trip. Despite some rain during our trip the overall experience of this tour will be unforgettable.
Finally I would like to mention our fantastic tour guide Leandro who was brilliant, giving us lots of information and facts about each destination and really making sure we got the best of our experience and time at each stop. Also a shout out to the rest of the screw on the Island and on the boat who were very friendly and kind.
A bonus was Leandro's sense of humor which had all of us laughing.

Memorable and fun!

Delicious pineapple, heavy booze! The rum was delightful definitely got everyone up and dancing. The boat was a good mix of singles/couples/families and small children. Everyone was friendly and our guide Leandro is super knowledgeable and watchful of the group. It’s easy to wonder once on the island, super gorgeous- I felt safe as a solo traveler. Made lots of friends. Highly recommend.

Santo Domingo and Saona island

My girlfriend and I did two tours through Steffy and were very pleased with both (we booked through chase ultimate rewards). Edwin was very helpful (messaging through WhatsApp), and I would definitely recommend Saona Island as a trip! Beautiful beach (which was especially nice given the seaweed problems in Punta Cana.

Professional, good service and a good price!

This company is an absolute TRAINWRECK from start to finish. My husband and I booked the full day Sanoa Island Tour through our hotel and apparently got matched with this company. I wish I knew in advance because if I googled them, I would never have agreed to go. I've been on numerous excursions in Mexico, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, and India and I've never experienced such a lack of communication, organization, and enjoyment from a day tour. What was supposed to be a great day on the water & beach turned out to be a nightmare! I've never not tipped for an excursion in my life, but we honestly couldn't get off the bus at the end of the day fast enough. Do yourself a favor and if you're booking the excursion at your hotel, make sure you know what company is handling the excursion...if it's Steffy...find another tour operator!!!!!!!

Catalina Island disaster tour

Do Not Book with this company. We were sold a snorkeling excursion to Catalina Island from a rip off artist on the beach. We were told it would be a catamaran and shown lovely colourful pictures of the "coral gardens". Also told we would be served lunch on the island and have shade to sit in with two palapas per family. We were a group of 6. Got the bus early as it was a long drive to get the boat. Told us on the bus there was no catamaran but it was a "very nice boat". So we were not happy but opted to stay with the tour as he promised great snorkeling and food. After a very long ride, over 2 hours, we arrived at the boat which then loaded way too many people on. Started serving alcohol immediately (we were told not until after the snorkeling so there were many drunk people laying on the benches before we even left) and took another hour before we actually left the dock. Guys and one short fat girl on the boat were extremely rude. Very rough ride out to the middle of the ocean, way too rough for snorkeling. Then to add insult to injury they ran out of snorkel gear after promising that this would be provided. A lot of people already even had their own and they still ran out. They were more interested in providing things to the scuba guys. IN our group of 6, one person could not go because they didn't have enough masks, snorkels or fins. And the stuff they did have was in very bad shape. The coral gardens are a joke. On the beach we were herded over to a run down spot where the lunch was not ready. Paid extra for nice drinks and given Koolaid with the rum. And no palapas at all! Hardly any shade. Bathrooms on the island were HORRIBLE! Ones on the boat not much better. It was a terrible excursion, do not book with these people!!!

Payed for fishing trip, was to meet at noon. We were there at 1130 no show no call on Steffys behalf. We made numerous calls to no avail.Have been trying to get our money back or go on a different day. They will not talk to us! Avoid the scam.

I booked a deep sea fishing trip fpr 3 people at 75.00 US each with Steffy Tours Representative William at his office across from the Baveretto Ocean Club at Calle Marcio Veloz Maggiolo 23003 Bavaro on Wed Feb 28th.. I paid William 225.00 US for the 3 tickets to go deep see fishing for Saturday March 3rd. We were to meet at Williams office at 12:00 PM. We all arrived at 11:45 and waited there till 1:45 PM no bus or William. I asked Leo who works at the Bavertto Ocean Club to help me, he called the main office and a representative came here on Saturday night on Feb 3rd.. apologized and said that no one knew where William was..and I would get my money back on Tue March 6th.. Tue came and went, no Money. Leo phoned the number and was told the representative was in Santo Dominique with his mother in the hospital and would be here to see me on Fri.. Fri came and went so Leo phoned again.. he came over after the call.. no money.. wants me to go to the prosecutor and lodge a complaint. Mon came and went no rep. we called again and were told someone would call back.. no call back it is March 16th now, yesterday we tried again and were brushed off.. called 2 more times and were hung up on..I did send an e-mail to the department of tourism..no reply.. looks like I am out 225.00 US.. be carefull if dealing with this operator..no money up front..there are good tour operators here in Punta Cana..wish I had of read trip advisory before booking this excursion
