Possibly the best beach between Preveza and Parga. The sand is white and the waters are sparkling clear and turquoise. They get deep after only a couple of meters, so if you have small children you need to keep an eye on them. Nevertheless, while the beaches further to the south towards Preveza are more wind-prone, Loutsa's waters are in general serene. There are organised parts with sunbeds (which are free, you only pay for what you consume from the bar) as well as plenty of space to relax away from the beach bars and their music. The beach is really long, and if you get hungry, just try one of the tavernas.

Nice, straight and long sand strip - not too common for this part of Greece. Great view, perfect for a seaside walk. Other than that it was too crowded for my taste, too commercial if you like. All sorts of dance music coming from the many bars - not my thing, but I could tell the younger visitors were having a great time :)

This beach is good for locals as it is very far from the centre. However if you have nothing to do and you are near the airport, you can go there as there are plentiful restaurant in that area

I confirm that in september wind and waves are often here, sometimes strong. If you want similar long sandy beach, without waves and not so shallow - go to Halkidiki, for example Nea Plagia

I've visited loutsa beach as a child and it was always one of the favourites in the area. Please be aware there is another beach in Athens with the same name as another reviewer has noted (he has been confused with naming). This beach is approximately 450km away from Athens and about 40km north of the town of preveza on the main coastal road. The beach has many hotels and eateries and thousands of beach lounge chairs. The water is generally very clean and the sea is calm making it child friendly. There is also a couple of mini markets. Fortunately it has been ruined by noisy tourists so its a good visit for mature people. The sunset is amazing from the beach setting right into the Ionian sea.

Beautifull sandy beach , with caffeterias, beach bars and restaurants all along side. No any stones, so totally save and enjoable for swim, water warm and clean and waves makes it fun to swim there. 🏄🏊🚣 Youngsters gonna enjoy for sure ,as its has beach volleyball facilities, cool music in background and fancy cocktails )))
