About
The company is located in Loazzolo, the town that has the smallest DOC of Italy and is also an Oasis affiliated to the WWF. Respect of environment is central to the family Scaglione who lives and preserve this wonderful place for six generations: the cellar in fact works entirely with the' solar energy and the vineyards are conducted in a biological way.

Giovanni will have you wrapped up in the story of his family, the land, the wine, and their mission... this is a man who lives with a passion that can be tasted in the quality of his extraordinary wines. We can all learn a thing or two from visiting places like this one and learning that the land can be nurtured and worked at the same time, as recognized by the WWF. Bravo!!

After a climb to the top of the hill you will find this beautifuly situated winery. There is a great panoramic view of about 270 degrees over the surrounding valleys and hills. We were welcomed by the daughter in law of the family who took us on a 90 minutes tour and winetasting over the estate. We learned about the history of the estate, the wild orchids, the family and the wines. The wines were great especially the Le Grive and the PIASA RISCHEI Loazzolo DOC.

I visited this vineyard in July 2015. The place is unbelievably beautiful. We had lovely wine tasting held by the owner family, and it included a tour in the beautiful surroundings. I've never experienced anything like this. Really worth a visit!
