Strolling on wooden bridges over the waterfalls of the Potenza river, visiting the small place with sculpted monsters, walking in the Appennino’s nature… all of this makes it a great experience! I love Pioraco and Li Vurgacci!

Suggestive view, in the center of Pioraco, a really cute little village. The path is very short, to be seen and savored calmly. There are two paths to access it: directly along the river (lasting about fifteen minutes) or by choosing the more panoramic circular one which lasts an hour. Suggestive views, suitable shoes recommended to avoid slipping.
It's a shame there is a lot of plastic 'debris' and various materials thrown into the river and stuck in the various whirlpools.
Pioraco in general is very pretty, very kind and welcoming inhabitants. I recommend combining your visit to the trail with some other nearby attractions.

You can choose what type of excursion you want to do. We chose the short tourist route. Through a path made of steps we arrived at the panoramic point at the top of the rock. The view is very beautiful, you can see the whole town. The lower paths, however, follow the course of the river. You can admire various waterfalls and everything is made more evocative by the small bridges that cross the water. The area in which there are rocks carved in the shape of monsters is suggestive. A truly pleasant experience.

Don't go alone. The path is not difficult but bumpy and sloping with a pebble bottom.

A simple walk for the whole family particularly appreciated on a hot summer day. The views and the waterfall are beautiful. It is advisable to avoid weekends or holidays where there is too much crowding.

Nice route to do with the whole family. In the greenery you can cross small bridges and reach the stream where you can get your feet wet. Continuing you reach the cross, it's a nice walk that you can do with the whole family

Tutto segnalato benissimo
