Wonderful place

Wonderful village surrounded by nature. Quite and small village with lots of nice restaurants and bars. We had a yummy panino with italian cheese and salame.
Planty shops for mountain.

Pitoresque
Jul 2020 • Family
The castel is very pitoresque, with its little squares and narrow streets. I didn’t understand the huge, awesome basilica. Seemed way out of proportion, more like a big city cathedral.

Beautiful

The old town has a wonderful atmosphere in the evening with lots of al fresco dining and live music. Many of the buildings are medieval and there are some interesting shops to browse in.

Fascinating walled historic center of Finale Ligure
Dec 2019
This ancient walled town is closed to car traffic - it is today very touristic but still worth a visit. Very good restaurants and nice shops. Since Finale Ligure is one of the paradise of climbers in Italy you will immerse in climbing culture and atmosphere.

If you visit the Liguria coast, Final Borgo should be a target. Very close to Finale Ligure (it’s part of it), by bus 40/ or walking or by car or whatever. The mornings and the afternoon coming to the night are special moments.

Totally recommended for everyone. Old style streets and yammy Italian food at the old part of Finale ligure.
Also a fantastic climbing to the top of broken castle but for sportive and well fit people

Medieval Borgo
Jul 2019 • Couples
Take the slow train along the promenade in Finale Ligure and go to Final Borgo. Plenty of places to eat and drink, most of them very good...try 'I Torchi' if you have deep pocket, otherwise 'I Torchietti' which a little less expensive.
Lots of craft shops in the breathtaking cobbled streets.
A must place to visit.

Very quaint medieval village
Jul 2019 • Friends
A little gem of an ancient village off the coast of Finale. Easy to follow directions by car to get there or frequent buses take you there in no time. Pretty paths through small alleys open up to spacious plazas with important historical buildings. A theater built in Napoleon’s honor (back in the 19th century he ruled this part of north west Italy, Liguria, Piedmont and the Western Alps of Italy), leaving his trademark in architecture and magistrature. Strongly advise to visit it in the Spring as it gets quite touristy and crowded in the summer. Many beautiful hiking trails depart from this village to reach beautiful wooded areas overlooking mouth dropping views of Ligurian sea gulfs. We stopped at Antico Pozzo for a hearty apéritif.

Cute ancient village with modern shops
Jul 2019 • Couples
I come here for the little wine store with tanks in the back where you can get Ted, white or Rose for 2.50/liter! Also, this place is huge Mecca for mtn biking and hiking/climbing. Many specialty stores here for that.
