There are literally dozens of shops, bars, restaurants and activities on Sosua Beach. I enjoy entering at one end and walking the beach in its entirety which can be done in 10-15 minutes. Very relaxing.

A must do....VERY lively beach during the day. Lots of restaurants, shops, vendors, and activities. You can rent a beach lounger and umbrella very cheap here. GO TO EL TORO NEGRO!!!!! Jonny and Evilyn are kind, honest, and great people!!

Great beach. Clean and lively. Beautiful clear water. Can get busy but the beach is long. Good snorkeling not far from the beach, just a short swim.

The beach would be better without all the stalls. There are like 50 stalls all along the beach selling pretty much the same stuff. Annoying that people try to get you to buy food and when you tell them no, the guy 2 feet away...More

This is a huge beach, wide, clean, largely tree covered, with perhaps 200 small shops lined along the upper side of the beach, and at the water's edge is a lovely 1/2 mile walk. The beach is easily managed, with a chair ( $2-3/day) a...More

The public beach is lovely. Lots of fast food places with good local cuisine that also serve beer and little shops with many souvenir options.

You can never go wrong with Sosua. I live like a 2 hours car drive from here and it is simply beautiful. The water is amazing, the view is gorgeous. Everything is great! DR beaches are the best!! #ilivewhereyouvacation 😁🌴

This beach is very clean with plenty of activities. Plus very cultural. The city Sosua is within walking distance where you dine dance and buy unique items.

I really enjoyed spending time on this beach, the sand and sea are beautiful. Plenty of colourful restaurants and bars for a fun day. Grab a Pina Colada and watch the Caribbean experience unfold.

Yes there is a fee. There are different vendors, you could check on the best price. Its a complement with your food and drinks (or included).

Once you enter the area where the concession stands are located you will need to go maybe 500-1000 yards down the beach to get to the best areas. Most of the beach is safe and suitable for snorkeling

Of course US$ is accepted everywhere and they will give you the same rate of exchange of the bank, now 1 US $ = 46 Dominican pesos. If you want to change the best choice in Sosua is a change close to the small market called... More
