Mainly if you enjoy Kitesurfing! If you do, this is the place for you and there are also some schools. Nice bars at the right end of the beach.

Beautiful sand, attentive people at the Voy Voy, perfect! Great drinks and lots to see if you like wind surfing or just watching people on the beach. Only thing I didn't appreciate were the vendors... they just never give up!

Was a little cloudy on the day of our visit, but the kite surfers were out and it was beautiful. loved having bars and lounges at no charge. Cool little town as well

To many people trying to sell their products. After the 8th person we left. I am not sure what the beach is like now after the storm. The restaurants were either distroyed or flooded. Hopefully all is well by now.

Cabarete beach has almost fully recovered from the disastrous flooding in early March. The restaurants and bars are all open and the festive atmosphere has returned. Great place to spend an afternoon and evening dining or drinking under the palms on the beach. Know that...More

Fantastic home cooking made fresh daily. Hard working husband, wife and daughter. Ate sancocho and many other Dominican food. Right beside Janet’s Supermarket

Cabarete Beach is probably the most wonderful beach location I have ever visited. A totally amazing place that does not have that overdone feel. A beautiful place that I think gives you a true Dominican experience. Go there... More

If you're adventurous, do the waterfalls, but it's kind of a high thrill (as you will be required to jump off some cliffs) and there's a lot of walking involved. If not, both Sosua and Cabarete are great beaches, the main... More
