We always make it a point to eat at La Boca. Great food and atmosphere. A nice walk from Cabarete on the beach side. Wilson and his staff never disappoints us.

I always go here when in Cabarete. Best fish with garlic sauce! Also great photo opportunities especially when the horses are running across the river. Good food, wonderful boat ride up the Yasica River.

This is place with potential for many aquatics sport, but unfortunately it is not looked after, presently there are tons of unsightly garbage all along the shore of the area.

It is indeed a special location with the river joining the sea. A nice little restaurant is available on one side. This spot is also great for kitesurfing.

I'm so late for this answer but if you want to see La Boca I recommend Rugama Tours. They have a Facebook page with pics and thier contact info. Ruddy tends to tailor your visit to your interests. We had a great time.
