Unlike the Cancun one there is no queue. Nice setting with the fisherman statue behind it. Good location to walk either up or down the Malecon

No many thing to do there, nice to walk and try the local fast food, good yummys and lots of local people, it is a good place to stay a while with friends.

We went down around noon-ish, and there was practically none of the night-life open that other reviews talk about. One or two small stalls selling cold drinks, that was it. The sign itself is, well, a sign. Take your picture, and you're basically done. On...More

Not much to do, very hot and humid. Still the "aqui nacio mexico" Is very nice sign with the statue next to it, the clock and the sea view.

The malecon in Chetumal runs for a fair distance along the rocky shore of the Atlantic Ocean, There are hotels & restaurants on the non beach side, it is a pleasant walk with a nice breeze on hot days, but little else.

We walked for half an hour along the Malecon by the ferry terminal on a very quiet day, some areas had a very unpleasant odour and the area was very unattractive.

Located right on the Bay of Chetumal, it is a very nice place to get your morning walk in or an evening stroll to watch the sunset. Very clean and safe area.

This is a nice relaxing spot near downtown Chetumal. Across from the government palace is a great spot to take some photos, as it is frequently not crowded.
