Just completed an excellent trip on the Smiling Seahorse in the Andamon Sea. The Smiling Seahorse is an well equipped dive boat with great facilities and excellent crew. Dive guides extremely capable and helpful. Dive sites varied and offer lots of photo opportunities, great underwater topography and excellent choice of night diving. Overall a great trip and many thanks to Frank and his crew.

We had an awesome time on this boat. The crew was funny and helpful with setting up and cleaning gear. The food was amazing. The views were nice. Frank is funny and knowledgeable and also a great photographer and does not charge customers for his excellent photos.

We had a fantastic week on the Smiling seahorse. I have been on many liveaboards and this certainly is one of the best I have been on. Everything and I mean everything was totally organised well. A guide for 4 divers and the dive deck was organised for the groups so it was easy to get ready. I liked the rotation for diving. Julian was brilliant and even though he was only maybe 5 years old and needed a haircut his dive guiding was faultless. He taught me a lot but not in an annoying way. The boat was spotless and the food endless and very nice indeed. New Years Eve was celebrated and everyone joined in. The boat boys worked so hard and knew how to. help. Simply having enough coat hangers and pegs for wet suits and wet gear makes life onboard so easy. The crew worked hard to get us the best diving for the season. I loved it. We hope to be back if you will have us. Gill and Nick

We had a great week switching off (no wifi) from outside world to enjoy a week with Frank and the team. The food is exceptionally great and the entire staff super helpful to make your week a 5 star. Great scenery and comfort on the boat. Unfortunately the diving is also what we went to experience and this was a complete disappointment with visibility 1-4 m daily and no big fish life (mantas, whale sharks or sharks), as promoted. The water was also cold and 19-20C on many dives. The diving was 1 star, but nice experience.

Dear guest, thanks for leaving us a review. I am delighted to read you liked our boat and team and giving our work a 5 stars. We are truly sorry you had an unlucky week in term of diving. The water is usually around 27 degrees and it is exceptional to have thermoclines below 25. Unfortunately there is not much we can do about that except encouraging you to try your luck again. Whale sharks and mantas were spotted last week. They are pelagic animals so seeing them is in no way guaranteed or advertised as such. You still saw plenty of rays, turtles, seahorses and harlequin shrimps. To many divers that wouldn't be bad diving...

We have just come back from a week's trip on the Smiling Seahorse through Myanmar and it was a fantastic experience! The Smiling Seahorse is a lovely boat with lots of space - lovely cabins, super food and lovely spaces to relax inbetween dives. The whole trip was so well organised - the planning, the briefings and dive organisation was so good. The dive deck is super efficient - the way your tank is organised and filled, how you prepare for your dive plus the layout of the deck, and the staff are so helpful in getting you in and out of the water. The dive guides are very professional and really nice - we had lots of fun diving with our guide Simon who led us through caves, tunnels, around pinnacles and through the current - the dive sites are varied and very interesting and the is so much sea life! Many thanks Frank, Julien, Simon and Ellie for making our trip such a memorable experience - we hope to come back someday! Penny and Dany
