Jumunjin beach has been included as part of the Kpop tour because it includes the film locations of BTS album cover as well as iconic scenes from popular K-drama - Goblin. For this trip, we decided to check out Goblin’s film site and reenact scenes in the drama. Would totally recommend bringing a bouquet of flowers to recreate the melodramatic scene between Gong Yoo and Kim Go Eun.

Visit the BTS bus stop the next time you visit #Gangneung city, #Gangwondo at Jumunjin Beach, where You Never Walk Alone album photo jacket. #wings It is not a real bus stop, only visited by Armies, very cute and always the loud speaker nearby always blasting BTS hits.

Oh and this is also the place Goblin was filmed, the scene where Goblin gave to flower to Euntak in the seawall.

We drove along the East Coast of South Korea and stopped at several beaches. They were all wonderful especially Mangsang Beach north of Samcheok. It was November so it the beaches were peaceful and incredibly beautiful. A few youngsters were flying kites. I guess during the summer these are packed but the late Fall and Winter brings a solitude and happiness you don't find in the noisy big cities.

If you want to get away with someone special and enjoy this type of quiet beauty, the East Coast that time of year is perfect. The few restaurants that were open served all types of seafood and everyone was very friendly. No one spoke any English but everyone was very friendly.

My husband and I were brought to this beach by our guide during our visit to his hometown. I was really happy to see the clean waters and also the clear blue skies. This is a lovely place not ventured much by foreign tourist but is well known by the locals.

Jumunjin beach has got to be one of the cleanest beaches in the entire Korea. The waters are dark turquoise and the current was strong. If you are a big fan of the KDrama, Goblin, be sure to visit the location where they shot the breakwater scene. Air was fresh too.

We were staying very nearby this beach and i thought i could visit the site where Goblin (drama) was filmed. Took us awhile to locate the breakwater. After asking some locals, it is actually in yeongjin, along jumunjin beach. It is called jumunjin breakwater in Naver maps. Just a tip to key this in if you are driving.

Beautiful views and pretty quiet. Think it is still off peak season. If you happen to be nearby, do visit this place. Easy coastal drive and easy parking as well. Lots of eateries along the roads too.

Visited the iconic Spring Day bus stop, which had fans queuing to take photos with the bus stop and the beach. Sadly the speakers at the bus stop were not working - would have been even better if they played Spring Day. Just wish fans from a certain country were more respectful of the other fans waiting, instead of yelling and running around.

The Goblin breakwater site was a bit of a letdown as it is surrounded by construction now. However, it is still a must-see for fans and there were loads of couples ready to recreate the scene.

It may not have been a good time to visit but the view was amazing. It was a bit far from Gangneung but really worth going. They also have a surf school there.
