The ruins tell a story - how explosive Mother Nature can be - when it buried a Church as Mayon unleashed it's full power in a volcanic eruption. Here one can see Mayon up close and personal. From afar, the 🌋 looks harmless but the...More

Activities to reach the Daragang Magayon Black Lava --> an hour ATV ride, short treking. Black Lava itself is astonishing, a perfect view for Mayon and the city of Legazpi. Zipline is an additional adventure. This is a must see for nature lovers and sports...More

Postcards into real life. A must see for me and it did not fail to deliver. The very clear sky, the perfect shape of it. Breathtaking. Also there were a lot of gift shops to choose from. So......Souvenirs! Yey!

This infamous historic spot is quite overrated for me. The ruins is not that fascinating if weren't of the Mayon volcano at its back. However it's still a good side trip for a main destination.

Postcards or pictures of Mayon Volcano would most of the time include the tower of the Cagsawa Ruins. And we finally saw it! We hopes we could get a clear picture of it with the Mayon Volcano like in the postcards but it was hard...More

Great view of the Mayon Volcano. The park is small but very reasonably priced. There are several gift shops to visit after you have seen the sites. The shops offer shirts, magnets, key chains and other items.

Interesting to know that the church were destroyed during the eruption of Mayon Volcano and the only remnant is its belfry. But the best attraction is the excellent view of Mayon from the back of the tower. Best time to be on that place is...More

Perfect photo ops when Mayon is in view without the clouds. Best to come here early as it can become crowded later during the day. Outside the ruins are souvenir shops, ATV rentals and a small gallery.
